The Strait of Hormuz will in no way—even after a final agreement—be "open" as it was before.” Relative to the pre-war pace of 100-120 ships a day, this would constitute a crack in the door and hardly a proper reopening. Let’s see how many we get tomorrow.

@CGasparino You literally could not be more off base. Trump threatened to bomb their infrastructure, then hit pause 90 minutes before the deadline. Iran agreed to reopen Hormuz for two weeks, but still under its control and still pushing transit fees. And hardliners are STILL in charge.

In a party-line vote of 53-47, Senate fails to approve the @SenJonHusted amendment requiring photo ID to vote. It needed 60. Every Democrat (yes, including Fetterman) voted NO.

You would need to show a Passport or certified Birth Certificate (not a copy). Millions of people do not have those documents, especially lower-income voters.
