UPDATE: Paige Ostroushko and her boyfriend are now trying to raise $12,000 off of Paige assaulting me. Paige and her boyfriend, have created a GoFundMe stating that Paige is a “rape survivor” and that the reason she assaulted me is because I laughed at, “a statement…made about rape in ICE detention centers”. Not only is this allegation that I laughed about the topic of rape an egregious LIE, but it was Paige’s mother Deyanna who came up to me and, WITHOUT REASON, began screaming in my face that I “don’t give a shit” about women and children who are sexually assaulted. I immediately clarified to Deyanna that it is my concern for women and children that led to my passion in covering the border crisis for the last 6 years. Chris, Paige and Deyanna Ostroushko have been on a press tour and have utilized their social media accounts to lie about and defame me for the last two weeks and this is just another example of how shameless they are. Btw, super interesting how Paige, who has been VERY vocal on social media since the attack, hasn’t mentioned the above reasoning ONCE, despite posting various responses since.
