It's been a little over 1 year since the HEX staking rate was cut by the mass staking activity from the OA. The effects of this rate cut can be visualised beautifully on the MAXI pooled stake token backing values. I've spent the last day or so updating my projection charts to use the last year or so of lower HEX earnings data to project where these stakes will land when they finish. Here you can see: - The historic behaviour of the price of these tokens vs their actual stake backing - Their projected future earnings based on a current stake cycle exponential regression - Projected future price fluctuations around the backing (purely decorative) - See and sort by effective APY if you buy today & hold until stake end (caused by discounts vs backing) - You can zoom out to see these projections through multiple stake cycles all the way up until the end of the MAXI stake (for like-for-like comparison). This takes into account the historic daily increase in share rate since the rate cut last year as a "decay factor" applied to future stake starts to project the decline in earnings potential. Essential for short stake pools like BASE, which see a ~30% reduction in earnings vs if this wasn't applied. -- It's no longer trivial which of these stake pools is undervalued. Some have entered their 2nd, 3rd or 4th cycle. Stakes that are closer to ending, with even slight price discounts, can represent disproportionate APYs vs more obvious discounted pools like DECI. Hex has been in an extended bear market since the pulsechain and PulseX sacrifice. Over 4 years of bleed. Amplified by the value extracted from sacrifice, dilution of demand, and other self inflicted things. One solution to turn the ship around is to simply shut down pulsechain then migrate all funds from the bridge and sacrifices into a hex limit buy and burn strategy to help support buyers. This action would drive hex to over $5 in a sustainable way. There is simply no other thing that Richard can do to drive growth to the ecosystem, it feels like all the actions he takes are counter productive. but the tools he does have (bridge admin key, sac funds) can be used to revitalize hex and push a new path forward. When I’ve suggested this in the past everyone thought it was crazy but I bet that a growing number of community members would agree now that this is a serious solution. To a multi billion dollar problem.

There appears to be quite a flurry of DEX development happening on PulseChain right now, including the ability to finally have reliable limit orders. Here's a few highlights: ✍️ @SwitchDotWin have just launched limit orders this week - this is a huge step forward for PulseChain. On PulseChain, when you set a limit order a contract holds your coins until it either fills or you cancel the order - this is a little different to how they're sometimes handled on other chains where you just sign a transaction and the coins don't leave your wallet until the order fills. They can answer any technical quetions the community has. ✍️ @LibertySwapFi appear to be getting close to releasing cross-chain limit orders as part of their LibertyX platform. We're unclear how they plan to handle the orders, we'll leave them to detail the technical aspects themselves. ✍️ @piteasio are supposed to be rolling out some improvements to their aggregator that allows them to handle tax tokens better. Looking forward to seeing this rolled out, useful for those that are neck-deep in muh tax tokens. ✍️ @agoraxwin have recently developed an OTC marketplace with multi-asset trades available. The trades appear to be entirely OTC and manual (rather than traditional 'limit orders' filled as DEX prices move through ranges), but the platform is particularly useful for illiquid or uncommon pairings. Don't take any of this as an explicit recommendation for any of these services, we're just reporting what we're seeing out there. All positive steps in the right direction for PulseChain development, and it's good to have multiple options available to suit the needs of all users.
