Joy Ezeugwu has been arrested this morning by a team from Police Force Headquarters Annex, Enugu. They were sent by her formal school’s (Ezzy College of Nursing) administrator Ifeyinwa Peace Okwudu. Students and staff oppression have now become a norm. We will dismantle it.

Nobody is sleeping tonight … You can almost touch it… It’s palpable; the lifted spirits of a country and a people that have caught a whiff of impending victory. Because one man moved against the odds and stuck with his conscience. This is what REAL hope feels like when it shows up. This is the @PeterObi effect! Take your flowers sir✊🏾🙌🏾 We Dey for you as you dey for us… Nigeria will be OK✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾

Successfully reconstructed the NDC logo, maintained the integrity of the logo and colour, but that initial colour combination is diabolical. That said, once he is announced as the presidential candidate, design assets will be made public. We are on stand by.

@HonShield The real gameplan of the their Lord and personal saviour, Tinubu was to DISTRACT, DETRACT and DIVIDE the formidable unity of the coalition. Not necessarily to have a one party system as most opposition voices think.

@Deezaak @PeterObi One of the core qualities of a smart leader is FLUIDITY — the ability to swerve, switch, adapt, and leave environments that frustrate growth and progress. A clear sign of a lack of wisdom is insisting on choking yourself in a toxic relationship.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

When the 2014 coalition was formed: Atiku wanted to be president. Buhari wanted to be president. Rabiu Kwankwaso wanted to be president. Rochas Okorocha wanted to be president. Sam Nda-Isaiah wanted to be president. In this coalition, no one asked the others to step up; northern and southern candidates threw their hat in the ring for the presidential primary in Lagos. In the primary, Buhari (3,430) defeated Atiku (954), Kwankwaso (974), Rochas (624), and Nda-Isaiah (10). It was this result that took Buhari to contest against Jonathan. In light of all these, Atiku did not leave the coalition despite being more educated and qualified than Buhari. He stayed in the coalition and supported the party to victory. I don't know how you will join a coalition and try to bully everyone so that you are the most qualified and don't want a primary election. If these were how the 2014 coalition was formed, it wouldn't be alive to become a ruling party of today.

@HonShield @Comrade_Yax Mr @HonShield would you have celebrated if Peter Obi accepted to be a VP to Atiku? In all HONESTY and by every political calculation, do you think that their ticket would have defeated BAT or even stir masses to take the 2027 election seriously?

You have said many things without using one single scripture. Sir, read whole of Ephesians 8… Oga, if you continue to walk in ungodliness you will not reign with JESUS . You will be shocked that those who once confessed Jesus will find themselves in hell if they do not walk out their salvation with fear and tremble

PRESS STATEMENT: ODUDUWA HALL NOT AVAILABLE FOR PETER OBI’s LECTURE — OAU The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, wish to clarify the circumstances surrounding the proposed lecture by His Excellency, Peter Obi, at the University. The general public is hereby informed that a particular group within the Students’ body extended an invitation to the former Presidential Candidate and two-term Governor of Anambra State to deliver a lecture within the University premises. The University authorities were not duly informed of the status and calibre of the invited guest until Friday, just a day before the scheduled programme. It is important to note that events involving high-profile personalities of such standing require adequate prior notification to the University authorities because it will enable the institution to make necessary logistical and security arrangements, including proper liaison with relevant security agencies such as the Nigeria Police and the Department of State Services (DSS), in order to ensure the safety of the guest, members of the University community and the general public. Consequently, given the short notice and the attendant inability to complete these critical arrangements, the University authorities could not approve the use of Oduduwa Hall for the event as requested by the organisers. The decision was taken purely in the interest of safety, orderliness and adherence to established protocols governing the use of University facilities, adding that it is not, in any way, a reflection of disregard for the person or status of His Excellency, Peter Obi, whom the University holds in high esteem. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire is, and remains committed to supporting intellectual engagements and hosting distinguished personalities, provided that due process is followed and adequate notice is given. Members of the University community, students and the general public are therefore enjoined to always comply with laid-down procedures in planning events within the University because we all are partners in progress for the overall development of the University.

@casmir348 @ronaldnzimora How many people will you cohabit to find who's perfect fit for you? Would you appreciate and approve that your sister go to cohabit with guy? Gambling with lady's future when you know in your mind who fits into your picture of lust or love is EVIL.

If ladies really understood how MEN think and make decisions concerning who they eventually marry, they would never agree to cohabitation. But do what you want. Every person will live and/or die by their choices.

For men, if they will marry you, they already know they will within the first month, at most two months of meeting/dating you. Cohabitation reduces the urgency for a man to marry you. In his head, he's already getting all the privileges, so why hurry. Now (except for the very rare few), if you give a man who isn't married to you wife privileges (which co-habitation does), the longer it lasts, the lesser the likelihood he'll marry you, because he gets comfortable and familiar, and nothing makes a man's admiration go cold faster than too much familiarity. Men thrive and aim for excitement, and the unknown, especially when they're in the dating stage. These are just a few.
