I do not advocate for this behavior regardless the side. They were both part of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party. I will look into their voting records and see if they said anything that supported Trump, or voting against the typical Democrat legislation. TYPICALLY Republicans do not engage in violence. If it was this the Republican side, this entirely new precedent.
