Today, we’re making a trip I don’t want to make. Our #2 child, 32 with four young boys of her own, had cardiac arrest while at a gas station in North Carolina. All caused by a blood clot in the leg, they said. It moved into the lungs, then her heart - into cardiac arrest. She had no pulse for 40-50 minutes, the brain usually only survives a few minutes without oxygenated blood pumped by the heart. She has low brain activity, is breathing by help of a ventilator, she’s convulsing, has involuntary movements, and my heart is breaking for her. She got herself into trouble a while back and left Michigan. I’ve not seen her in 8 years. She’s all alone. Hold on, Mom’s coming. 🙏
