The final ten minutes of episode six of Star City is some of the best television of the year. Ridiculously tense with a great musical score to boot.
Where season 5 of For All Mankind underwhelmed at times, Star City has been mostly excellent through and through.

Watched the first episode of Star City last night. It’s a spin-off paraquel/sidequel that runs alongside season one of For All Mankind, but as seen from the Soviet perspective, and I gotta say, the first episode was pretty damn good. Some character accents are all over the place, but beyond that I thought it was a great watch. Very intrigued to see where they take this idea.

Stop treating every experience as if it’s the player’s first time playing a video game. It’s annoying as shit & your opening hours are suffering because of it. We don’t need another by the numbers opening level telling us how to crouch & jump.

New players can absolutely have an option in the home menu to teach them the ropes, but there’s a deep stagnancy occurring within games where the first hour is a repetitive slog as countless games repeat the same pacing. An instant fix would be tutorials trapped to a menu.

@evilwomenloverr Every first level should not be created as if it’s the first, for the absolute newbies they can have an option in the menu to learn the ropes. But basing every single opening on the chance it’s someone’s first time is absolutely terrible. And it’s why so many opening hours suck
