I saw a man yesterday fully tanked up spraying the little Dandelions just popping into life I asked him why He said what would the neigbours think of him keeping an unkempt garden having these dirty weeds in his garden No point in explaining the benefits of Dandelions

Before you mow this spring, walk your yard first.
Rabbits nest directly in the ground and a lawnmower will destroy a nest in seconds.
What to look for: a small patch of disturbed grass or a subtle depression, often covered with dried grass and fur.
If you find one, don't move it or disturb the nest. Mom is around, but rarely seen at the nest.
They'll be gone in three weeks and you can mow safely.

If you live in areas where she still hangs on, or anywhere in her historic range, here’s the simplest way to help:
Plant wild blue lupine (Lupinus perennis). This is her only larval host plant. Does great in sandy, well-drained soil, full sun.
Bee balm, blackberries, leadplants, and native milkweed all provide the adults with nectar. Worth planting!

Farah Louis has filed a notice of intent to sue the City Council for $10 million, the Daily News first reported, alleging a hostile work environment under former Speaker Adrienne Adams. Adams, widely recognized as the worst city council speaker in history, is running for Lt. Governor on the Komrade Hochul ballot line. It’s a good time to remember that Hochul’s present Lt Governor has been stripped of his devices, office space, and vehicles and is paid to do nothing using your tax dollars. Her first Lt Governor was indicted on federal corruption charges.

In Florida, 74-year-old Richard Wilbanks became a hero after risking his life to save his puppy from an alligator.
While walking his three-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gunner, near a pond behind his home, an alligator suddenly lunged from the water and grabbed the puppy.
Without hesitation, Wilbanks jumped in, wrestled the alligator, and forced its jaws open; he famously kept his cigar clenched in his mouth the entire time.
Despite injuring his hands and needing a tetanus shot, he freed Gunner, who later recovered after veterinary care.
