I'm on Day 4 of COVID-19 and my throat feels as though it contains broken glass. No. of cases is at a record high (higher than at any time since lockdown in March 2020) according to @timspector .And yet masks are not mandatory on public transport and we don't even have to isolate

I know it is a v good idea for the D81 to show what the net effect of an agreement will be, but is anyone else finding filling in the new D81 a seriously time consuming (and therefore costly for clients) process?

I find it so impersonal when family solicitors refer to the parties as “your client” and “my client”. As solicitors on the matter, we know their names (and lots more about the family)! Here’s hoping that some sols will make it their NY Resolution to use names in correspondence!

@johnbolch Most good family lawyers tell their clients that there are no winner or losers in family cases, money or children. Our “wins” are when we have settled a case without recourse to the court.
