They should have tried to aquire one of the stud players in this draft. The next two drafts dont have the same quality

@BiceNutt2 @JDBunkis It’s not a known quantity when you start your scenario with “if.” If the leafs finish 5th last they’re more likely to give their pic to Boston. And they’ve made their room even more toxic by losing. If you want to retool, you don’t want to tank.

Berube will continue to take the majority of the heat for playing vets and doing his best to ice winning lineups but this is on the organization. If the Leafs don’t end up keeping their pick its because of their failure to communicate what should’ve been a clear and obvious plan
