Today my daughter walks across the stage at Clemson University, summa cum laude and on the President’s List, and I’ve been fighting back tears all morning. I don’t even have words for what I’m feeling right now! She already has a 1st grade classroom waiting for her this fall and those little ones have no idea how lucky they are. Please keep her in your prayers as she steps into this next chapter. 🧡 💜 🎓 So proud of my Clemson Grad!!

It should not take SO much effort to find a book without explicit sexual content. I read a ton, I check everything…tags, reviews, summaries and still get blindsided! And sometimes it’s halfway through the dang book. By then I’ve already paid for the book and invested hours into reading it. Sexual content is so normalized now that it’s not even labeled properly. This is such problem. I’m so annoyed.

@hillbillythings Not sure with the Novus Ordo but in the TLM we don't have OCIA. A person meets with the priest until the priest says they are ready. We don't even necessarily wait until the Easter vigil for them to come into the church. I've seen it take as little as 30 days.

@FredSimonTLM My girls have a heat lamp too. They really do appreciate being warm! People have a problem with heat lamps because they don’t know how to put them up properly to prevent a fire.

I moved to my small farm from New Jersey in 2021. Dismantled a crumbling old shed and built a new chicken coop from the ground up. I was ridiculed, by the experts, for insulating it and installing a heat lamp. My chickens are laying eggs and theirs aren't.

@hillbillythings Yes! I would rough up the top of your nail with a file pretty good so the acetone can soak in! Cotton balls soaked in acetone on your nail then wrapped in tin foil helps too if you don’t want to keep your fingers submerged in the acetone.

A guy shovels a woman’s driveway, then rings her doorbell to let her know he’s finished and that it will be $40. She answers through her Ring and says she has no idea what he’s talking about. He insists she replied to his Facebook post and agreed, even repeating the address. She says he has the wrong house and that she never hired him. When she says she can’t pay him, he gets angry, says he’ll “just put the snow back,” and actually starts shoveling the snow back into her driveway. She yells at him to get off her property. So how could this have been resolved without turning into a confrontation? What should each person have done differently to avoid things escalating this far?

I’ve been off X for Advent, but I’m logging back in to ask for prayers for my 16 year old daughter. She is facing significant mental health struggles and is a 2x suicide attempt survivor. She is safe, surrounded by care and we are doing everything we can but this season is heavy and we are asking for Heaven’s help. I’m asking for the intercession of St. Dymphna, St. Jude and St. Monica…for healing, peace, protection, wisdom for her doctors and hope where it feels hard to find. If you are willing to pray, even briefly, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏

You lose your ability to engage in self-giving love and you jeopardize future fulfillment. You are ruining marriages. You are destroying many men, many relationships, many families and many futures. You are contributing to the degradation and inevitable fall of your own civilization. If you open your heart to Jesus and repent, the scales will finally fall from your eyes and you will see all the sin, sadness and destruction you help bring into the world by commodifying your body, your beauty, your life and your eternal soul. There is no shame in repentance. We have all sinned and we can all be washed clean again.

Please pray for my daughter that is 8 hours away at college and extremely sick with Flu A. So hard to be this far away from her when she’s so sick 💔
