@JohnCleese Their silence is deafening! I am struggling to draw any other conclusion than deliberative complicity.

I am proud to announce local businesswoman Rebecca Shepherd as our Restore Britain candidate for the Makerfield constituency. Rebecca has spent most of her adult life living and working in the Wigan borough, where she has built and run her own small business. Through that experience, she understands first-hand the pressures facing local businesses and working people across the community. Like so many residents, Rebecca has seen the growing impact of rising costs, increasing legislation, red tape, and bureaucracy, which continue to make everyday life more challenging for ordinary people trying to work hard, support their families, and stay afloat. Put simply - she understands what local men and women are going through. This is the type of person we need in politics. Not career politicians, but genuine people with real life experience. Rebecca is particularly passionate about improving SEND access and support across the local area. Her interest in SEND-friendly activities comes through the work she does within her Community Interest Company, where she has seen first-hand the importance of opportunities, practical support, and activities for people with additional needs. Rebecca is standing for Makerfield because she believes local people deserve honest representation, accountability, and someone prepared to fight for the interests of the community rather than their own political careers. I look forward to campaigning with Rebecca, and putting forward Restore Britain’s positive vision for the Makerfield constituency. Rupert Lowe, Restore Britain Leader Our local priorities: Safer streets for women and girls - tackling the gangs of foreign men who harass and intimidate local women and girls in Ashton, and elsewhere across the constituency and the Wigan Borough. Fight reckless overdevelopment in areas including South Hindley, and Winstanley - roads, dentists and GPs must come before responsible house building provided for local families. Improved SEND support for those in genuine need - we must avoid overdiagnosis, but also provide proper investment to those who need it. Including a constituency-wide investment programme for the improvement and maintenance of children’s playgrounds. Tackle anti-social behaviour in Ashton and elsewhere - no-nonsense, visible policing to crack down on criminal activity in our towns. Parents too must be held responsible for what their children are inflicting on the community. We say enough is enough. Restore our high streets - push for free car parking to drive footfall, abolish business rates to reinvigorate our town centres and deliver a full investigation into the explosion of vape shops and Turkish barbers for trading standards/immigration non-compliance. We are in this to win it.

🚨RUPERT LOWE on Dan Wootton: NO DEAL with Farage or Reform UK🔥 “Watch my lips…I don’t work with people that try and send me to prison for nothing.” On the Grooming Gangs Scandal: “Labour put power and their own interests ahead of the abuse of the most vulnerable white British working class girls in this country.” “The police have done nothing. The NHS have done nothing. The Labour Party have done nothing. Local Government have done nothing. It’s Establishment Fraud!” After today’s amazing victory in Great Yarmouth @RupertLowe10 refuses any “unite the right” truce and puts victims first. Full interview on @danwootton YouTube Channel

The election results in England, Wales and Scotland are a disaster for the Labour Party, and I send commiserations to the many fantastic Labour representatives who have lost their seats. Frankly, if we don’t get our act together, Labour will face total destruction. The writing was on the wall after Gorton and Denton, after Runcorn and Helsby, and after last year’s local elections. People are desperate for a government that, after a decade of Tory austerity, will reverse the decline in living standards and tackle widening inequality. Today, voters are once again showing us that we are failing to do this at the pace and scale that the country needs. Instead of listening, the leadership doubled down on Reform-lite immigration policies, cut support for the most vulnerable, and made a series of unfathomable political blunders that have damaged Labour’s integrity and people’s trust in us. Some will argue that the answer is to go even further in chasing Reform. Not only would that be a betrayal of everything our party stands for, but we’ve also seen how pandering to the far-right only normalises, legitimises and strengthens their politics of division and hate. Today’s election results are proof that this won’t work. So where do we go from here? We need a Labour government that recognises its duty to working-class people, that fights for our rights and living standards, that takes on the vested interests holding this country back, and that makes the case for a more just and equal society. It’s also clear that in England we’re losing council votes to the Greens and seats to Reform, often by small margins, and first-past-the-post is turning those margins into a gift for the far right. Without proportional representation, that same system could hand Farage a majority government in 2029 on a minority of votes. We did not secure a historic majority in 2024 to be tepid in government, to punish the most vulnerable or to mimic our opponents. From housing to our hollowed-out public services, the country faces interlocking crises that demand bold policies and a progressive government with the courage to deliver them. With this in mind, I believe the Prime Minister should announce a timetable for his departure.

@RupertLowe10 Why can't they have an open mature debate over his opinion and why he thinks that?... If were not allowed to think, speak our minds and debate to find truth then society is dead...

An RAF cadet has been suspended from an officer training course after saying that Islam is the 'greatest threat to Britain'. He was 'immediately removed' from the course and is under investigation. A shocking decision. Young men are entitled to their opinions. If he had said racism or the far-right, would he have been suspended as swiftly? I doubt it. It is no secret that I have immense concerns around the creeping islamification of Britain, and the demographic changes facing our country. Restore Britain is the only party willing to actually do anything about it. If that young man wants my support, I urge him to get in touch.

@Waqas_4MP @RupertLowe10 Maybe if you had the balls to publicly condemn the actions of Muslim rape gangs, you could make a real difference, instead of pretending its not happening. Why do we never hear from Islamic leaders condemning such behaviour and stating this is not Islam, not in the name of Allah?
