@Sadie_NC When I was that age, I absolutely spoke to friends that way. I only started saying "screw it" more recently—and even then, it strongly depends on who it is I'm speaking to. And often lowercase = casual/joking. But even still, when it's something serious, I type more seriously.

I showed this to my 21 and 23-year-old sons, and they said no one they know this age texts like this. They said, "Mom, this is how you text". Do you know any 22-year-olds who text other kids like this? They don't use complete sentences with correct punctuation.
