Great story, nice effects, Rocky was fun, and it was great to see Hollywood put out a movie that hasn't been recycled again and again like they love to do. 5 stars for me👍

I just saw it. Honestly I was disappointed I’ve read the book twice and listened to the audiobook like 10 times. I didn’t care about any human character at all. Only Rocky had any emotional depth and that pool was an inch deep. Why did the Hail Mary have solar panels?! It was powered by astrophage and spent almost all its time in interstellar space nowhere near a star.

This is a bit weird. Two US aircraft - at least 1 tanker (with the most sophisticated collision prevention measures in the world) somehow crash mid air? If the second one was a fighter - there is only one winner in that collision - the tanker, but it seems the fighter survived.
