There’s no way we should be paying £120m for Elliot Anderson. He’s a top-tier player, but that’s 'generational talent' money, and I don't think he’s at that level yet. There are plenty of other great options on the market for a much more reasonable price that would still give our midfield exactly what it needs without bankrupting us. If Wilcox is as smart as we think he is, he’ll walk away if the price stays that high and pivot to a better value-for-money profile.

Ndiaye just like Amad is a close control monster, hard to dispossess, good with 1v1s and keeps the game going, just like Amad BUT
When you want to win great things, you need attackers with elite ball striking, willingness to take voluminous shots and risks, high level of creativity, numbers hungry and a certain level of selfishness.
For example:
Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema
Messi, Suarez, Neymar
Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo
Salah, Firmino*, Mane
Aguero, Mahrez, Sterling
Yamal, Lewa, Raphina.
And so on.
When you are ready to win big trophies, Amad and Ndiaye are not the attackers you make your first teamers..

Depth wise would be happy with this. Concerns would be fitness of Mazraoui, De Ligt, Licha.
Ndiaye/ Brown/ Mateus Fernandes would likely be starters don't deep me putting them as bench options.

I like Angelo Stiller but you missed the plot the moment you said Manchester United don’t lack running power or athleticism.
There’s a reason fans heavily criticise Mainoo and Casemiro. Our midfield is being outran most of the time and that has been a constant issue for years.
Angelo Stiller is good and he’s a tempo controller but if you want him to flourish, you need a Baleba or a Tonali/Anderson next to him.
Mainoo is not blessed with pace and you’re downplaying people with pace and athleticism in favour of someone who clearly lacks what we need the most in Midfield.
