I will try to post everyday about 20-30 pages I have read before/after sleeping/waking up. I started with "The Power of Habit". Love and reply. A good habit needs cue, reward and craving, as the book said. I crave for resourceful interaction (a.k.a. like, replies, retweets)

@rajsinghchohan The physical conditioning of the team is so low. Ekitike Injury is the example. Also look how gassed Szobo is. He is being bullied at the center of the pitch, getting knocked over and being slow in turn. So many miss passes from Wirtz, Mac too. Bad execution due to fitness.

Pretty clear that Liverpool need more deep passing quality as a priority. Have probably seen max 3 impressive passes from their own half in the first 45 minutes. Had the hot & spicy chilli of Trent for years now it’s all just vanilla.

one of the biggest reasons why i think Arsenal struggle so much in high-variance environments (cup games, late-season play) is the division of cognitive labour players are mentally exhausted due to a lack of role clarity and hierarchy, and it leads to collective slumps

NEW WORDS 🚨: we always talk about ‘luck’ in sports. I wanted to take a look at why the 2024-25 Pacers and Liverpool teams seemed to manufacture luck so much better than other teams through the lens of cognition. link below

@rajsinghchohan @CrewsMat10 This is also the problem of Vinicius with Brazil. In Madrid he often tries to dribble to the space behind the defenders by bypassing them on the outer side. But in Brazil he always tries to go inside and faces a hoard of trailing legs.

@rajsinghchohan @CrewsMat10 Dinho swatted away from the “fight” (read tackles and trailing legs) and Neymar jumped into the “fights” (dribbling to places where defenders are clustered.)

She left Bangladesh when she was a college student - pursued a PhD at U Penn. Married a a German professor, her only daughter married an Irishman. Now at age 86, she is back to her land of birth - accompanying her twin grandsons represent her land of birth. Bangladesh has skipped a generation - yet Bangladesh isn't lost from them. The twins call their grand Ma as ‘Nanu’ - a typical Bengali term for maternal grandmother. This 86 year old didn't stop at traveling to Bangladeh - she has been to Maldives to cheer her grandsons won the championship for her Bangladesh!

Indians have not been able to gain a footprint in the world of exact sciences—could not win any Nobel, fields, Abel, Kyoto, Shaw prizes—because children have never been disciple of honesty. There is no substitute for hard-work and honesty in the world of pure creative pursuits!
Yaashaa Golovanov@Golovanov_ammoc

Sometimes back I removed a child from AMMOC and he went on to say his classmates at AMMOC that he left this program on his own. This is the kind of very dishonesty that fundamentally annihilate such children from doing anything much beyond competition, degree and job! 1/2.

3 *legendary level* seasons in 2017/18, 2021/22 & 2024/25 with 5 other world class seasons in between. His 2024/25 season was the best ever season from a PL attacker. He came as a lightning quick winger then became an all-round creative & goalscoring monster. Mo Salah = greatness.

Please get back to doing puzzles, sudoku, board games, crosswords, word search. Read long novels and watch long form videos. Seeing my students and even my age-mates uncomfortable being cognitively unentertained is... something. We’re losing patience with thinking deeply.

One of the qualities of a top leader is being able to recognise situations where a person’s strengths are so overwhelmingly strong (and beneficial to your overall cause) that their weaknesses almost become irrelevant, and you then make special allowances for them.
