The fact is: there still isn’t one. That continues to be confirmed by RB Leipzig, Real Madrid and the player’s camp. If a €100 million bid has been rejected, then it’s pretty obvious the final fee will be well over €100 million, isn’t it? Real Madrid are expected to get the deal over the line tomorrow or, at the latest, during the course of next week. Diomande wants to join Real Madrid and has a verbal agreement until 2031. Club-to-club negotiations will continue tomorrow. Diomande is also due to return to Leipzig tomorrow. 🇨🇮

Vinicius Jr earns €680k/£575k per week. The magnitude of this deal is gargantuan, even with just a year on his contract. There aren't many clubs who can afford this & there are less who can (legally) pull it off. Arsenal, much like Manchester United, are yet to prove they can get something this big done. A player & a superstar like this completely changes your dressing room dynamics, wage structure & tactical system. It doesn't mean there's no excuse not to try, though.

Cost won’t be high considering his contract situation. Wages will be fine. United aren’t a poor club. Our revenue still among the best in the league. With Vinicius, our revenue can go even further up.
