@Nazdravan

We are an anomaly. Like a statistically impossible bullseye shot from before time itself. I'm so happy to be here, and what a time to be alive too!!!

@Ethelbrait1941 I find it very charming the way your posts will have a randomly placed comma and period interrupting a word or two. Is it because you make these on a typewriter?

@RobMcNealy @CarlHigbie Well that's a different discussion all together and should have been faight when we chased Julian Assange and Edward Snowden into exile for exposing our government wrongs

@CarlHigbie Just for clarification... Is it that you're against the relocation of water from farming to the data center or the data center using water? And are you against them building their own power plant and making their own electricity or just the use of all the electricity?

I don't care about what color flag is above the White House. It's become a deep disappointment every administration, so with that said... I've spent long enough of my life with the hope that I can train up the uneducated and found it's a fallacy. There are certain abilities and soft skills that just don't happen after a point in most people's lives Intelligence is nurtured over time and Im willing to go as far as personally believing it solidifies at some early point in life and can't be learned if not already at a certain height of ability. I find it similar to learning how to live in a different culture or learn a language down to the accent. My analogy is obviously not perfect but I think it stands. Intelligence is a way of thinking and you can't just dump knowledge on adults and expect that they will paradigm shift their mode of thinking. Our prowess is in the way we think, for good or bad, and I am yet to find anyone capable of learning it sufficiently well enough to excel, at least not from the cohort I pull from for my labor needs. And so, the Chinese will almost always default to copy pasta grade crap but excell at production. As for the land, it will never be exportable. It can only be depleted of natural resources or destroyed. Hopefully local municipalities will backstop. Yes, there are situations like Acadia California and their spy mayor, and people in local municipalities can be bought. But overall, allowing China to spend on the US is a net positive. It's not like we don't have our own flavors of corrupt elected officials or bribing corporations. At least this way it's a net export or inflow of moneys.

@yunta_tsai Beware the flywheel pitfall. You will all fall into into building bigger and faster and they will blow up in your faces until you're forced to find a better way. Just a warning that bigger and faster is not always the answer youtu.be/HN2svHJpRRg?si…

Attempted to write a Steam Engine hype at the era of Industrial Revolution as if it was the age of AI — The steam engine breakthrough is insane right now. Watt’s separate condenser + new GRPO optimization just dropped the 405 hp-class engine. We went from 7 hp → 70 hp → 405 hp+ in basically three years. One machine now does the work of 50+ men or water wheels — nonstop, rain or shine, anywhere. Textile mills, ironworks, everything scaling 5-10x overnight. Productivity exploding. This isn’t incremental. It’s automating physical labor at massive scale. Jobs shifting forever. Society about to look unrecognizable. The Industrial Revolution isn’t coming. It’s here and accelerating faster than anyone predicted. Terrified. Excited. Both. What a time to be alive. 🚂💨

@lthlnkso Again with that same atomic bomb comparison. Bow it's starting to feel either like lazy copy pasta information or a coordinated, unified, and paid message like Sinclair did... Remember that gem?

This was a great analysis of "intelligent looking nerd by design" UT data center video. The one thing that might have helped was to offer a comparison example of what would have been a neutral and more appropriate power consumption rather than "Manhattan" & "atomic bombs" comparison, like the total power consumption of a sall city everyone knows for similar period of time for both (ie 1 year of that data center to 1/8 of Salt Lake City for one year) Relative, appropriate, and better fitting conceptually.

@BasedinteIIect @yacineMTB The singularity is real. Your question is now proof for me I mean when, bots are trying to act more human and I'm here trying to show how we made them like us from the beginning and you go and ask me that... Well, what's reality anymore 😐
