𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
On the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 2025, PATH President and CEO Nikolaj Gilbert met with Dr. Ouma Oluga, Principal Secretary for the State Department for Medical Services, to review and strengthen the longstanding partnership between PATH and the Government of Kenya.
The discussions built on nearly 30 years of collaboration, with focus on expanding joint efforts in health workforce development, vaccine manufacturing technology transfer, and local production of essential health products. These areas are seen as critical to advancing Kenya’s health system transformation and ensuring better outcomes for citizens.
Dr. Oluga reaffirmed the government’s commitment to sustainable health solutions rooted in local innovation and manufacturing capacity. Mr. Gilbert praised Kenya’s leadership in driving reforms and highlighted PATH’s role in providing technical expertise and facilitating knowledge exchange to accelerate progress.
Mr. Gilbert was joined by Dr. Nanthalile Mugala (Chief of Africa Region), Caroline Moor Larson (Head of Operations, Office of the President), and Carolyne Njuguna (Director of the East Africa Hub).
