Today Matt Frostic, NCGA first vice president and corn grower from Michigan, testified at a @USTradeRep section 301 hearing on proposed action related to Brazil’s trade practices, which have harmed U.S. corn growers for years. NCGA supports efforts to create a level playing field for U.S. growers.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at the Nebraska Corn Growers Association! Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and the people who help keep our country strong, including the farmers who feed and fuel it. Our office is closed today in observance of the Fourth of July.

Approximately 96% of Nebraska corn is grown using biotechnology. Across the United States, that number is about 94%, showing how widely these tools are used in modern production. Access to global markets continues to depend on policies that recognize science-based agriculture.
