Year-round E15 was a major topic of discussion during a hearing to promote domestic demand at the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture this week. Citing the impact of the Middle East conflict, 64 agricultural groups, including the National Corn Growers Association, sent a letter today to the chief executives of @MosaicCompany and @Simplot_SGS urging them to support the removal of duties placed on imported phosphate products from Morocco. Growers were in D.C. this week advocating for a few key issues: E15, Farm Bill, and USMCA. These collective conversations are how solutions are built, one step at a time.

Today, NCGA partnered with the National Foreign Trade Council to host a panel discussing the importance of USMCA renewal. NCGA First Vice President Matt Frostic, of Michigan, spoke about the importance of the agreement to the success of corn farmers. Mexico is the number one export destination for U.S. corn and Canada is the number one export destinatoion for U.S. ethanol.
