Farmers have been in D.C. this week advocating for stronger corn demand. One of those major possibilities is with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Capturing just 10% of the jet fuel market would mean 1.7 billion bushels of new demand. Learn more at ncga.com/stay-informed/…

Yesterday farmers had a good conversation with @SenAmyKlobuchar @SenateAgDems about the top priorities for American corn farmers: E15, input prices, and driving demand. As year-round E15 enters the Senate, we’re excited to work with the Senator and get it across the finish line.

Farmers met with @JohnBoozman @SenateAgGOP in D.C. to discuss important issues at the farm gate. They talked about the need for fair markets, lower input prices, greater demand for American corn, and of course, E15. We look forward to continuing to do hard with the Senator to get E15 through the Senate.

Grower leaders met with the @CongressmanGT @HouseAgGOP team to dig into urgent issues like demand generation, market opportunities, and input prices. This is the team that played a major role in passing E15 and the Farm Bill through the House, which farmers are grateful for.

Corn producers had a productive conversation with House Committee on Agriculture ranking member @RepAngieCraig @HouseAgDems this morning. They laid out the facts about the need for corn demand, E15, and fair market opportunities.

Corn farmers met with @USDA Undersecretary of Farm Production and Conservation Richard Fordyce and Deputy Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agriculture Michelle Bekkering yesterday. The groups discussed improvements to the farm safety net and the importance of trade to the ag economy. Corn farmers highlighted the importance of these USDA programs and mission areas.

E15 is our top priority in the U.S. Senate this week. NCGA farmer leaders met with @JohnBoozman to talk about the next steps for E15 and how to get it across the finish line.

Marine fuel is an exciting new market for corn, and grower leaders are ready to talk about it in the U.S. Senate.

Farmers met with the @USDA and @SecRollins and @DepSecVaden to talk about serious issues important to corn growers, including biofuels, input costs, and NASS modernization. We’re grateful for the work USDA leaders do on behalf of corn farmers.

We know that corn demand goes beyond on-road ethanol. Matt Frostic is in the U.S. Senate today talking about bioplastics and the corn economy.

Today, I had the honor of accepting the NCGA President’s Award in recognition of my advocacy for our corn growers and year-round E15. Representing the largest corn-producing district in the nation, I have seen firsthand the challenges facing our farmers. That’s why I was proud to help champion and pass year-round E15 in the House. Our work is far from done. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Senate to get this bill across the finish line and signed into law.
