29 years ago, my dad, @BigRussLaraway, took me to college at @UofSC. I remember it vividly. We had two major deaths in the family within 10 days of each other that August and so he and I went alone so my mom could be present for the 2nd funeral.

Big day for @ChasLaraway as he learned he got into @CcSoundhouse as a drummer playing in their pop / R&B band... amid "record numbers of musicians" that tried out this year. It's Chas' 1st ever audition, & we're mostly proud that he put himself out there and gave it a shot.
