@ZiaYusufUK @Keir_Starmer What is it that attracts criminals to the Conservatives 2.0 ? Not the peoples party. Not Britain first. Just the rich elite party.

The Countryside Alliance have been told by the Met Police that 531 crimes were recorded at Churches in Greater London. This includes 255 thefts, 76 cases of criminal damage, and 200 cases of violence. This isn’t good enough, we must protect our culture and our Churches

Keir Starmer: “This is not our war” Also Keir Starmer: jumps on the first plane to Saudi to try and take credit for ending the war. Never has there been such incredible levels of grifting coming out of Downing Street.

Who is to blame for 'hollowing out' Britain's military? Sir James Cleverly blames the Prime Minister. But some of @NickFerrariLBC's listeners get in touch to argue otherwise.

Waitrose sacked Walker Smith for trying to stop a shoplifter. Why did that principled action “breach his contract”? HR is causing societal erosion. We need to restore consequences for theft. My column: 👇 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04/0…

Labour's much-trumpeted 1.5 million homes target is disappearing into the distance. Their abysmal failure to deliver new housing is clear for all to see. So why do they keep repeating their promise when they know they are breaking it? order-order.com/2026/04/08/lab…

America/Israel may have won the war on the battlefield, but Iran won the war on the waterways, paralysed the world’s energy supplies, and caused huge global economic damage. That’s why President Trump has moved to do a deal. It’s not a ‘historic victory’ or anything like it.

🚨 TAKING BACK OUR STREETS 🚨 Kemi Badenoch announces a strong new approach to tackle long-standing issues affecting communities. For too long, taxpayers have been left to pick up the bill after groups move onto village greens, cause damage, and walk away — something many people see across Sussex. The Conservative Party is clear: we will back the police with stronger powers to deal with this properly and protect local communities. It’s time to restore order, responsibility, and respect. 🇬🇧🚔

@Councillorsuzie Conservatives, short-term policies, long-term disaster. Child benefit is available to "hardworking taxpayers" and the disabled, vulnerable and the currently unemployed. We have a decling birth rate in the UK and we need to encourage people to have children.

Ridiculous. Those that work pay for those who make expensive choices and often don’t work and have never paid into the system. This is unfair Ms Phillipson, unfair for those of us working hard and paying tax.
Bridget Phillipson@bphillipsonMP

Yesterday in Newcastle, I met with families set to benefit from the scrapping of the two child limit. Parents will have more money in their pockets, children will have better life chances. That’s the difference a Labour government makes. My interview with @ChronicleLive 🎙️

Kier Starmer has made himself an irrelevance on the world stage. What is going to offer to put on the table or threaten to take off the table to influence this situation? What’s his diplomatic or military currency? What’s his leverage? What’s the point of his trip?

Spineless Starmer has left Britain’s borders in chaos.❌ 🥀Labour have no plan on illegal migration. Their ‘one in, one out’ deal is a farce and asylum hotel numbers and claimants are surging ⬆️. 🔵Only Conservatives have the backbone to get a grip on migration with a BORDERS plan that puts the British people first.🇬🇧

What does the UK think of the Iran demand they control shipping and charge a toll in the Straits? As this is a clear violation of international law why isn’t the PM speaking out against it?

Ed Miliband is still refusing to use North Sea oil and gas to bring down energy costs. He says that it wouldn't have any impact - but that's total nonsense. The truth is, he's too obsessed with Net Zero ideology to help hardworking people by bringing down their bills.

“Restaurants are done.” “I have people calling me in tears every day… 40 years in business, now going under.” “Not the consumer… the government is totally killing the restaurant industry.” When experienced operators say this, the government must listen. The tax and cost burden is unsustainable.
