@JumpyFeller Gameplay wise I would maybe put it above Assault but it’s still in that 6/10 range imo, I would just rather play 2 or 64 over it

The one game that deserves the recent 'revisionism'. This game *was* good (still flawed). We were just too weak to see it.
Reviewers were wrong. Woz was wrong. Nerrel was HELLA wrong. And fans were wrong.

A reminder: there is nothing wrong with playing via emulation at an enhanced resolution. But texture packs suck and you should feel bad for using them.

All the texture packs I saw for Twilight Princes don't look right to me. TP textures should look kind of muddy. Whole game just looks wrong if it's too sharp and crisp.

Star Fox peaked with "Assault" and no one can change my mind. The designs, the characters, the dynamic, the music...it was all fantastic. I know this because, starting with the very next game, it would be all downhill from there.

it's mid. On Rails is good but leagues behind 64. Ground Missions are pretty boring (especially the last one) and there's too many. All-Range is alright but nothing too good. Overall a mixed bag with a good story and great music, I don't really get the hype

@Neccese I believe it was referred to both in publications and colloquially as Snake's Revenge: Metal Gear 2, but my connection sucks so I can't find the source from archive.org, but I'll try to hunt it down later

Quick tell me how the titles having numbers helps a newcomer know whether to play Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge vs Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, or which to play first between MGSV Ground Zeroes and MGSV The Phantom Pain, or whether to play Metal Gear Solid (GBC)

@alittleyareli @swgless The only thing is the ape escape crossover stuff is only on the ps2 version of MGS3 Subsistence

@alittleyareli @swgless The only versions I would say to avoid are the original versions of 2 and 3 on ps2, you want the version of 2 titled Substance, and the version of 3 titled Subsistance. Every other port of 2/3 are basically the same so no need to worry really.
