A day out on the @greateranglia network today making the most of the Anglia Plus rover ticket. I visited Norwich, Lowestoft, Ipswich, Felixstowe and Cambridge. I also got a ride onboard on 755421 the pride FLIRT unit. Overall a great day FLIRTING around East Anglia!

A day out on Norfolks’s little railways today, the Wells and Walsingham Light railway which is the longest 10 1/4 inch railway in the world, and then a trip to the Bure Valley railway at Aylsham to ride the afternoon Diesel service to Wroxham. Overall a nice way to spend the day.

A brilliant bank holiday weekend spent at the mid Norfolk railway spring diesel gala. With 37501,37800 and 20007 and and 20205 visiting. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers @midnorfolkrly for putting on such a great and enjoyable event.

The future of the Welsh valleys is here. The new @tfwrail class 398 tram trains are now out on daylight testing on the core valley lines. In preparation for their future introduction. Today I went out to see 398027 testing between Aberdare and Taffs well and Treherbert.

The Royal Sovereign was the very first Class 67 I ever drove during my driver training, so it already held a special place in my heart. However today, it became even more meaningful as it’s the very loco I had the honour of driving to get signed off to finally drive them solo! 👑 I really enjoyed the run down to Stafford. Also it was lovely to meet a couple of folk at the station! All in all, a truly wonderful day! 🥰

Nice day out to the lakeside and Haverwaite railway today, for their diesel gala event. An event which they haven’t held for many years. Featuring a 110, 20 214, 2 03’s and a freshly painted class 11. Great little railway, and a brilliant and unique gala! Worth the trip

A day out in the sunshine ☀️ at the Statfold barn railway in Tamworth. For their spectacle of steam event. A fantastic little railway, with a large collection of narrow gauge locomotives!

Had a nice short time at the Rainhill Model Rail Show (and a ride on a nice old bus). Very nice model rail displays! Also became the proud owner of an old seat hand-hold from a 507 from the @class_507 Preservation Society stand they had there. 😁

🚴The first of our six refurbished cycle trains is now running on the Heart of Wales line.
More of these trains will be introduced to service by the summer and customers will be able to bring up to 12 bicycles and e-bikes onboard.

Today we completed Aberzance on @CrossCountryUK 👀
774 miles in standard class from 08:20 to 21:31. We had 8 drivers, 6 train managers and 3 catering teams who where all fantastic 😁

Hi, I can’t comment for some reason. But I ordered my tickets for £60 last week. But my tickets haven’t arrived from the new ticket provider. Do you have any idea when they will be sent out? Or who to contact if they don’t get sent. I just want to avoid disappointment on the day.
