Here is my issue with the Many Worlds Theory that is gaining popularity and which says every possible universe exists. If that was the case then there would be a Universe where: 1. That universe would be the only universe 2. That universe would consume all other universes 3. In that universe a weapon so destructive that all universes would be erased would be created - And a universe where that weapon was used I could go on but there are just too many universes that preclude the idea. Moreover, the Conservation of Energy would dictate the very opposite - one Universe. If the Many Worlds theory is even remotely on track then there must be some sort of control system that both prevents the many examples I can provide like the list above and something that collapses non-viable options. So would it be the Competitive Many World Theory and, if so, how do we guarantee our best one, as the human species, survives?
