@denicmarko Wordpress Vuetify Probably some cloudflare caching too. That's what I could dig out of the JS code at least. :P

When Meta trains it models on 80+ TB of pirated books from LibGen and other platforms, it's called 'fair use', without them having to pay penalties and / or receive some form of legal punishment, as proceedings are ongoing. When Aaron Swartz downloaded 70 GB of articles from JSTOR in 2010 he was facing a $1M fine and 35 years in prison, before taking his life in 2013.

I am happy to see that my feed still has plenty of awesome stuff from tech, rather than the current political climate. It makes it easier to touch grass.

@MadamSavvy @SenMarkKelly After looking at your tweets I can hereby declare this person a lying individual. Several of her inventory is not locally produced.

I dont buy imported shit. I buy local. My prices have all started going down. It scares you things are being shaken up. Anyway, youll all song and dance and perform and get your panic fund raising in. Just like with china and other negotiations, it will all move forward and relatively quick.

Troops from European countries are arriving in Greenland to defend the territory from us. Let that sink in. And now Trump is setting tariffs on our allies, making you pay more to try to get territory we don’t need. The damage this President is doing to our reputation and our relationships is growing, making us less safe. If something doesn’t change we will be on our own with adversaries and enemies in every direction. Republicans in Congress need to stand up to Trump.

Trump is raising tariffs on 8 NATO allies because they rightly support Denmark's sovereignty in Greenland. Destroying our closest alliances to take Greenland — which Denmark lets us use freely already — is insane. Congress must say NO.

For some reason, Denmark has a heroic movie about resisting Nazis. This is despite the fact that Wehrmacht occupied Denmark in just 6 hours and lost no soldiers in combat. (Germany’s only 2 deaths were accidents during transit). But here's a clip, Aryan-on-Aryan violence. Enjoy.

@saltyAom It's remarkable how well rounded this framework is. I am always amazed about "For Humans" part of it. The documentation, types as a truth for data and abstractions that is easy to comprehend. I think people underestimate how much friction this actually removes.

I think Elysia make a lot of sense for meta-framework API routes API routes are usually lacking in documentation area because of rapid development so it's somewhat hard to track when something changes Elysia fix that because it's self-documenting by offering: 1. Eden Treaty: End-to-end type safety w/ RPC-like client similar to tRPC 2. OpenAPI: Tight integration with OpenAPI and runtime schema with Standard JSON Schema eg. TypeBox, Zod, etc. 3. OpenAPI Type Gen: Automatic documenting all possible type based on HTTP status using return type infers directly from TypeScript type Because it's Single Source of Truth from runtime to type to OpenAPI documentation to Frontend via RPC-like client without generator means nothing is out of sync and directly infers from code This means if something changes, it would show exactly where it could cause error and if your code works and the documentation would update instantly without effort It's a REST API, so everyone already knows it and you can just use something like OpenAPI generator for other languages as necessary to works with And it's using Web Standard API so it works with most meta framework like Nextjs, Nuxt, Tanstack Start, Astro and so on Elysia is "If your code works, it's self documented"

Still obsessed with this... I think I'm going to try and turn it into a whole hybrid digital/physical game. Will play similar to Catan, because I mean obviously it should. I'll OS it all when its done :)

@EisenbergEffect @ryanflorence I was a huge fan of Aurelia. I worked as an intern at that time in a logistics SaaS company and we chose Aurelia to build the UI with. Unfortunately it got shut down and some tech lead chose React instead.

Next month it will be 11 years since I introduced Aurelia to the world, a declarative front-end framework built on the latest web standards of the time. It used signal-like reactivity with batched, fine-grained DOM updates that outperformed Angular, React, and Vue. Behind its rendering system was its TaskQueue. You might find the docs on that interesting. aurelia-1.gitbook.io/v1-docs/gettin… This was actually before queuMicrotask was a standard API, so I built it on top of MutationObserver, inspired by other libraries of the time like ASAP. Original source code, first authored in 2014 is here: github.com/aurelia/task-q… (Don't use this today, but interesting for historical reasons.)
