Just in: The NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors meetings March 24-25 to explore adding expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, with the two franchises targeted for the 2028-29 season, sources tell ESPN. There is momentum for stakeholders to approve surveying what industry executives project will be bids in the $7-to-$10 billion range for each team.

I trust your opinion on this entirely. But here’s another radical idea. Seattle City Light should be privatized, and report into shareholders and customers and regulatory bodies, not the Mayor’s office. There are far too many other priorities for the executive and legislative branches of Seattle.

Horrible News: WA Democrats killed Sen. Boehnke's legislation to fix a dangerous ruling from the WA State Supreme Court (SB 6203). Our hyper-progressive WA State Supreme Court ruled that criminals in other countries have a blank slate on their record in Washington State in July 2025. Criminals from other U.S. states don't have a blank slate here, but now criminals from other countries now do. It defies logic. Astonishingly, 96%+ of over 2,100 people Signed-in PRO on SB 6203, but WA Democrats chose to side with criminals instead. Several people have asked why I'm not excited about the Seattle Times Editorial Board's recent, soft opposition to the current governor's state income tax scheme? Because it's false. The worst kind of political triangulation. It's an old game that the Editorial Board plays. Endorse the Leftist politicians that peddle bad policies & taxes, whimper about the bad policies & taxes, and then...endorse the same Leftist politicians. Over and over again. Applauding this weak triangulation only encourages more phoniness.
