@Neijek @EidenHodl New tiers and the card are already a fact, but the new tiers are only for U.S at the moment and the card is distributed in batches (I saw a thread on reddit a month ago, but haven't received an email yet).

L'UE ha poi confermato il bando col Pacchetto Igiene regolamenti CE 852 e 853 del 2004. Produci casu marzu e lo vendi: è reato. Sin qui, tutto abbastanza logico. Aspetta. Nel 2009 il Guinness World Records lo incorona ufficialmente come il formaggio più pericoloso al mondo. Le larve, se ingerite vive, possono sopravvivere nell'intestino umano e causare danni interni. Non è folklore: è la motivazione ufficiale del record. E qui arriva il bello. Lo stesso Ministero delle Politiche Agricole italiano quello che dovrebbe applicare la legge lo inserisce nell'elenco ufficiale dei Prodotti Agroalimentari Tradizionali, il registro PAT. Il documento che certifica una produzione codificata da oltre 25 anni e che in teoria serve come primo passo per ottenere una deroga sanitaria europea. Tradotto: lo Stato italiano certifica ufficialmente come patrimonio gastronomico nazionale un alimento che, per legge dello stesso Stato, non puoi vendere. La produzione nel frattempo non si è fermata. Si stima che in Sardegna vengano prodotte circa 100 tonnellate l'anno, interamente sul mercato nero. Il prezzo è alto, la rete di distribuzione è informale, e i controlli si scontrano con il fatto che nessuno, in Sardegna, considera questo formaggio un problema. Il paradosso è tutto qui: il casu marzu ha un record mondiale, un riconoscimento ministeriale, e una condanna penale. Tutti e tre contemporaneamente, dal 2009 in poi. L'Italia ha patrimonializzato qualcosa che non può vendere, e probabilmente non ha ancora deciso se questo sia un problema. @EidenHodl @Nexo It's a different company and project then when we funded it as a potential voter and builder/investors. Maybe it's better or worse in the long run, but I think it's clearly a different company.

I think we will never see a Nexo AMA anymore. If you have an issue or a question you can talk to your Relationship Manager (if you have more than $100K at Nexo) or customer service. If this is true I hope @Nexo can confirm it. In the latest post @Nexo it is also not possible to comment anymore. Only certain people can. No cheering allowed or making a critical comment. I understand Nexo want to avoid noise or FUD in comment but it is a bit sad the transparancy and accessibility is not what it used to be. I respect what AI agents can do and it’s saving expenses but this is also another way of losing community.

@laethcore To be fair, I doubt this affects many people. Most readers have already upgraded their devices several times over the years. I would have too. But like I said, the new models are simply not as good. That’s what annoys me.

I’m so upset… My Kindle is fifteen years old. It still works fine, and I want no other. I read a lot, and this is the only e-reader that doesn’t hurt my eyes. None of the new models have a screen that so perfectly mimics paper. And now Amazon is forcing me to buy a new one. 😡 I don’t need a touchscreen or sound, and I definitely don’t want adverts! 🤬 The timing couldn’t be worse either… I can’t afford it right now. ☹️ I guess I won’t be buying more ebooks for a while... I’ll just have to read the ones I already have.

@HenrM_Cruz Interesting, never seen that on the bus... How do you activate the ticket ? Even one bought with dedicated app, like wetaxi etc have to be activated manually or by scanning the qr code on the machine within the bus.

Just had a terrific digital experience on a crowded bus in Italy. 1. Could not get to the front of the bus to buy tickets. 2. The bus advertised a service to buy tickets via WhatsApp. 3. Scanned the QR code, opened a WhatsApp chat. 4. Sent a message with “ciao” (probably could have been anything) and got a link to buy tickets. 5. The checkout page had input for cc (auto-filled) or link from stripe (!) 6. Tickets paid, delivered to that same what’s group. Super simple. Ironically, the next gen ticketing machines inside the bus were not working.
