@pc602 @HoolyMcg And it would have been much better for the park if it was burnt in late winter

@HoolyMcg It's a big bugger and so sad that it's got to this size. The park really was something quite special. A lot of unique flora and fauna.

Evidence of today's back burns. A lot of hard work is going into trying to contain it and to protect Ravensthorpe.

Which uni course provides the best skill set for coming home to the farm for a family sibling that wants to go down the tertiary line? UWA Ag Science or Curtin Agribusiness or Marcus Oldham Geelong or something else?

@bhogleharsha What was wrong with the pitch? Absolutely nothing! Just questionable batting and some good fast bowling. You can’t blame the wicket

There were 60000 people expected in Perth today. They would have looked forward to a great Sunday for weeks. Even if the batting was unusually frenetic, and the game was extraordinarily gripping, a track that allows a game to end in 2 days isn't fair to the stakeholders of the game.

Australia still has a “luxury car tax”. A 33% tariff designed to protect Holden, Ford, and Toyota… brands that haven’t built a car here since 2017. It kicks in at $80.5k, and for every dollar over, the government takes a massive 33%. No Senate approval was ever given for the hike from 25% to 33% back in 2008! Last year it made Canberra $1.25 billion. By 2029, they’re expecting $1.4 billion. “Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program.” - Milton Friedman -

@arbsmichael A trillion + dollars of debt, they need every tax $ they can get. Most of the States are Bankrupt, except WA. Labor Govts have and continue to fail on Financial Management. You are seeing it right now!!
