@KTB_500 Wouldn’t the vehicles just move past their smoke? In the UKR counter offensive their columns had to breach 10K of obstacles under fire. Seems like they couldn’t carry enough

This! So why do we "pretend" it will work? Also I still have yet to see a BCT breach under smoke, as it always runs out prior to the breach force getting to the breach.
The Buddy CSM@TheBuddyCSM

@KTB_500 I love NTC, but trying to gain effective suppression and obscuration for an armor battalion is a lift that is too heavy for an ABCT. I think it would take the entire division’s artillery to effectively provide enough “SO” the breach force can do the “SRA.”

@FinniusFoxley @HomericFuturist Elite Portuguese units fought well. Flechas, paras, marinhos. But the regular conscript on a 2 year bush tour usually sat in a fort for 1.5 years. No maps, poor training, little fighting. Most KIAs in AN/MZ were from anti vehicle mines and car crashes

@HomericFuturist Uh putting the Rhodesians and Portuguese in the same light is kinda offensive to the Rhodesians. One Selous Scout did a better job and was braver than a battalion of portuguese soldiers and thats putting it lightly

With all the discussion about Rhodesia and South Africa the Portugese really don’t get enough credit for how hard they fought the commies

@HomericFuturist Portugal gets little credit for holding the line for 10+ years of a 500 year empire. Conscripts going 2 year tours in the bush, paras and marinhos fighting hard in Guinea. Historians theorize they could’ve held AG/MZ if they conceded Guinea. Africa would be better for it

@ClayTravis This weirdo doesn’t have to appeal to anyone except immigrants and boomers. Texas is very nearly a blue state, and will likely flip soon without dramatic deportations of legal immigrants

@Babygravy9 Anyone crossing the border wearing camoflauge can easily be declared a hostile military target and promptly engaged by a drone strike or perhaps a nice linear ambush to include claymore mines

How many “special interest” Chinese nationals entered the US while the border was wide open for four years? Hundreds? Thousands?

1 - at least a third of my clients would sell to the government immediately if they got FMV for the property 2 - turning tenants into property owners on a mass scale will usher in a multi-generational GOP majority in any state that will institute a program like that
Brecca Stoll@breccastoll

NOW: Mamdani says his admin will transfer ownership from bad landlords to non-profits. “For buildings that have suffered chronic neglect, we will work to transfer ownership to responsible stewards. Stewards that include community land trusts, non-profits, or even the tenants themselves.”

Liberal reporter: "Humanity has to decide whether it's worth it to put hundreds of people in a cage so that millions of people can live peacefully. It's quite a dilemma.” For normal people, this is not a dilemma. Lock them up, throw away the key.

@Babygravy9 It’s extremely difficult to destroy a dam, requires thousands of pounds of explosives to punch through all that concrete. This should be taken very seriously, but unless the device was placed in the perfect spot its damage would be negligible.

@mattforney @ploughmansfolly Does any of this matter if you don’t need an ID to vote in CA? Is there a realistic scenario where a non Democrat establishment candidate loses when they can commit voter fraud so blatantly?

Spencer Pratt is the anti-Casey Putsch. Every insurgent Republican running for office everywhere in America needs to Ctrl+V his campaign. 1) He doesn't countersignal Trump. 2) He doesn't waste time on social media. He lets a team handle it and puts his effort into ads and retail campaigning. 3) He doesn't talk about Israel or other national issues that voters don't care about and which he has no ability to influence. Pratt meets LA voters where they are, talking about the issues that actually matter: crime, homelessness, decay, disaster preparedness, infrastructure. This is why he's going to win.
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh

🚨 WOW! SPENCER PRATT with the PERFECT response "You're a Republican in a deep blue city...the odds are stacked against you." PRATT: "It's just the socialists and the communists that don't back me!" "My supporters in LA are Democrats. Everyone I know, my family, are all Democrats. I grew up in LA!" "Everybody that texted me last night, amazing, congratulations, are all Democrats. So what people are confused on, the Democrats all are behind me." "I'm confident I'm probably going to win with 51% on June 2nd because I don't do a political message. I don't do national politics." "I don't do tribal politics. I don't talk about other states. I'm localized." "I just want to fix our streets, get the lights on. I want people to feel safe. I want to get our tax money to not be robbed by these literal criminal NGOs stealing from our tax to increase the homelessness!" "So my message isn't political. It's common sense. So I have Democrats love me. Republicans love me. Independents love me. Libertarians love me. Constitutionalists love me. It's just socialists and communists." @spencerpratt VOTE FOR THE GOLDEN AGE OF LA = Spencer Pratt

@9mmsmg Yes. Anti-execution folks will screech about how the value of human life must be preserved in this man. But a real society must value justice beyond human life. The killer must be hanged to show that we value the victim’s life more and that justice shall be done by taking life.

@zermatist For most of his fame Shapiro was an America first guy, similar to Charlie Kirk, mostly engaging a young audience. But after Oct 7 he showed his ultimate priority was Israel, which most young Americans don’t really care or think about

@RSE_VB Just look at SWO retention and their bonuses: you can sign for DH for 150k as an O2, which is more than pilots/nukes get. Keep that pulse strong and you’ll almost certainly command a ship one day

@breeadail One downside: SWO retention is terrible with bonuses netting +$150k from year 1-15, more than pilots or subs! Combined with the 2 crew design of LCS and there’s a huge demand for O3/4/5, and now more demand for O6s. Keep a pulse going and now you can command a big deck.
