Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley claims Man City deliberately lost to Ast. Villa to deny Bournemouth a UCL spot next season. 😂

@Douglasc57 @professormalb @StevePenk @ManCity The prick literally just admitted he cheated to get a penalty! How is that being bitter. What to be bitter about also. I’d be embarrassed supporting a club that had assholes like that in the team. Let’s not get started with the 115 charges. We just won the league also - bitter??

This was one of the nicest things I’ve ever seen in a game of football, the guard of honour from the Aston Villa players mid game for Bernardo and John Stones was wonderful, thank you, pure class from the Villa players @ManCity

@professormalb @StevePenk @ManCity Don’t need to mate. With his snidy tackles just like Bryan Robson used to get away with. And the way he talks and disrespects opponents. Horrible person!

@gabimartinelli @IanWright0 We can see u love us and how much the club means to u. Ignore the idiots on here asking u to go! They know nothing about football and don’t appreciate everything u have done and hopefully will continue to do for our club. You’re very much one of us!!

After almost seven years at this club, it’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me. I arrived at this club when I was 18 years old. Far from home, barely speaking the language, trying to adapt to a completely new culture, new life and chasing a dream that felt so big at the time. I didn’t know exactly what the future would hold, but I knew I wanted to give everything for this club. We didn’t just build a team, we built a family, an identity, and something the fans could believe in again. To see this club back where it belongs is one of the proudest moments of my career. I want to thank my family, thank everyone at the club, the staff, my teammates, and every person working behind the scenes. Most importantly, thank you to the fans. Your support, patience and love throughout these years never went unnoticed. You stayed with us through the difficult moments, and this title belongs to you as much as anyone. This club changed my life. I will always be grateful for the privilege of wearing this shirt. PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 🏆

@Evertxn No problem. Would have been nice to see spurs down but at least it’s a guaranteed 6 points for most teams next season

Serious question - when at a restaurant do you thank your server when she/he puts your plate in front of you?

I never ever wore colours as a kid in the 1980s but Millwall just knew you weren’t from round the Old Den. Even those FA Cup games at the New Den in the early 1990s were something else. I remember me and mates legging it at South Bermondsey when they twigged after one cup game there. We still laugh about it when we catch up for a beer but it certainly wasn’t funny at the time!
John Rivo 71@JohnRivett3

@laythy29 Exactly that. Everyone knew you weren’t Millwall which made it a gauntlet

First time I went to the intimidating Ayresome Park was in May 1989 when Arsenal beat Boro 1-0 when Martin Hayes scored weeks before Anfield 89. Travel Club train up to Thornaby then buses along the Linthorpe Road. Even the grannies coming out of the bingo used to flick the v’s at the visiting ‘cockneys’ in Middlesbrough. Good times

@JamieMagill5 It coincided with Jersey Royals being in season so for a short period of time they went in salads. I remember it well. And salad cream!
