Tam Shepherds, a Glasgow institution since 1886, have closed their joke shop, believed to be the world's oldest, due to high costs and redevelopment in the area. The good news is their online shop remains open. I'm sure many of you have fond memories of visiting this wee place.

This is concerning to say the least.
It’s my opinion that these marches should have been rerouted well before today & I’ll be advocating for that should they propose this route again.
People should be free to enter their place of worship without intimidation.

Catholics are now being prevented from approaching St Alphonsus for 12 Mass by a group of anti-Catholic bigots. The police have no safe plan in place to allow them to get to Mass. The priest was delayed in getting to the church. This is life in Scotland for Catholics today.

In 2024 in Glasgow, the City Council still facilitates anti-Catholic hate marches past Catholic churches. There are dozens of alternate routes available for these bigots to use. @GlasgowCC needs to take action to allow people to attend church without intimidation. A disgrace.
