If you’re Parker, you’re fuming. It’s a huge fight and you want to at least have to go down and take a count if you’re getting stopped. But also, u know if you’re getting knocked around when on the ropes and looking in trouble u have to clinch, land some punches back and look like you’re coping ok when the ref is closing in. Otherwise you run the risk that the ref jumps in. I didn’t want it stopped, wanted to see what happens next as Wardley would’ve been gassed. . But you can’t say Joe didn’t look in trouble because he did and that gives the referee a decision to make. #ParkerWardley
