दक्षिण भारतीय पार्टियाँ एक बार फिर से भाजपा को उनसे मुद्दा छीनने को विवश करती दिख रही है। नियमतः, जनसंख्या के अनुपात में ही सीटें बढ़नी चाहिए क्योंकि लोग वोट दे कर नेता चुनते हैं, हर व्यक्ति का एक वोट है।
नेता ‘जनप्रतिनिधि’ कहलाते हैं। @rai_kaushlesh ने अच्छा पोस्ट लिखा है, जिसमें आँकड़े स्पष्ट हैं कि 1881 से लें, या 1951 से, उत्तर की जनसंख्या का शेयर पहले जितना था, उससे 3% नीचे गया है, और दक्षिण की पहले जितनी थी, उससे केवल .8% घटी है।
यदि 1881 से अब तक की बढ़ोतरी देखें उत्तर 427%, दक्षिण 444% बढ़ा। यानी ये बकलोली बंद होनी चाहिए कि दक्षिण के राज्य रिस्पॉन्सिबल रहे, बच्चे कम पैदा किए। उल्टा देश की नीतियों ने स्वतंत्रता के समय अधिकांश बड़े प्रतिष्ठान दक्षिण में ही बनाए ताकि वो पाकिस्तान के रेंज से बाहर रहें। तो उत्तर को उत्तर भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री ने घंटा ही थमाया है।
लेकिन हमारे आइटी सेल के योद्धा विपक्ष के इस अजेंडे पर सप्ताह भर से कुछ नहीं लिख पा रहे। कौन डेटा-क्रंचिंग करे, पुस्तकें पढ़ें? हाँ, पान दुकान वाली भविष्यवाणी करवानी हो तो, वो कर देंगे कि डीएमके के तमिलनाडु में जब ब्राह्मण बनाम राजपूत होगा तो फलाँ आदमी मंच पर रैली में दिखेगा। लिख लो, नोट कल्लो!
वो सोच कर बैठे हुए हैं कि अरे मोदी जी ने 50% बढ़ा दिया है, रास्ता निकल आया है। जबकि वो इस पर भी तैयार नहीं। ये पार्टियाँ इनसे मनवा लेंगी कि वर्गकिलोमीटर के हिसाब से, और शिक्षा के स्तर के हिसाब से साउथ को वेटेज मिले। वो यह भी मनवा लेंगे कि जिसका जीएसटी का कलेक्शन अधिक है, उसको अधिक सीट मिले। आर्थिक उन्नति के पथ पर ले जाने का वेटेज तो मिलना चाहिए।
पिछले परिसीमन में ये महान बातें कोई नहीं कर रहा था। वो बस हो गया, क्योंकि कॉन्ग्रेस जो करती है, वो सही ही करती है। पिछली बार भी अटल जी की सरकार के समय हो-हल्ला कर के सीटें 1971 पर ही फ्रीज कर दी थीं। 71 में लेकिन जनसंख्या ही आधार था।
हम तो लिख-बोल रहे हैं, क्योंकि हमें साउथ वालों से वैलिडेशन नहीं चाहिए। @narendramodi @AmitShah से आग्रह है कि ‘मुद्दा मत छीन लीजिएगा’ इस बार। न ही यह हो कि सीटें नहीं बढ़ाई जाएँगी। बारगेनिंग में हमेशा आप ही क्यों लिहुर जाते हो? सत्ता में हो तो सत्ताधारी जैसा दिखना आवश्यक है।

What better governance can 300 MLAs give that 200 MLAs haven’t been able to?
What better laws can 850 MPs make that 543 MPs haven’t been able to?
What better governance can 120 cabinet ministers give which 81 haven’t been able to?
Have these questions been addressed before adding such humongous number of MPs and MLAs? What about the cost to the exchequer? What about the additional ministers that will be sworn-in?
Is it minimum government? It definitely isn’t.
The whole point of parliament and government is to make the lives of citizens better. Governance has collapsed at all levels, from municipal to state to parliament.
Instead of fixing that and delivering for people, BJP wants to add even more positions of power and bloat the government.
Women’s reservation can be implemented with the current number of MPs and MLAs also. Just reserve 33% in the existing number for the 2029 elections.

Nadiya ke Paar was the original version of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. This was set in the hinterland, while Sooraj Barjatya remade it in a more glitzy form.
The original itself was a massive hit in the Hindi belt. This is a particularly lovely song, absolutely soothing.
The dialect am not sure sounds Eastern UP to me, but those from Hindi belt would know better.
Also love the contrast in characters, heroine stepping out of her home for the first time wanting to enjoy the nature leisurely, while the hero wants to complete the journey as soon.

This clip has something interesting to observe. The youngster doesn’t consider PF and ESI as part of his salary. He is getting 14,900 but all that he considers his salary is his take home after deductions. I am sure he is further dramatising figures by lowering the take home. With generations of propaganda against businesses, lower instincts like jealousy to play on and too many manipulative folks, it is easy to fan April 13 kind of trouble.
