The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced a $275,000,000 settlement with Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), an Ahmedabad, India-based company. AEL agreed to settle its potential civil liability for 32 apparent violations of OFAC's Iran sanctions. From November 2023 to June 2025, AEL purchased shipments of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) from a Dubai-based trader purporting to supply Omani and Iraqi gas. Red flags should have put AEL on notice that the LPG actually originated from Iran. During this time period, AEL caused U.S. financial institutions to process 32 U.S. dollar denominated payments totaling approximately $192,104,044 for the shipments. The settlement amount reflects OFAC's determination that AEL's apparent violations were egregious and not voluntarily self-disclosed and further reflects the AEL's remedial measures following discovery of the conduct and the cooperation AEL provided for OFAC's investigation

@Rustum_0 There is a difference. In medieval Hinduism marriage might have happened early to protect against predatory muslims but Gauna i.e. vidai happened after girl has reached puberty. Not supportive of this and proud that no Hindu today supports it or follows it

Peshwa Bajirao II (r. 1796-1818) found that Brahmins are selling their daughters (Kanya Vikray) and keeping them unmarried beyond the age of nine (against Hindu customs). Peshwa issued a decree prohibiting the sales and requiring that all girls be married by the age of nine.

उत्तरप्रदेश- संभल की अमीना ने 5 दिन के अंदर 4 बच्चों को जन्म दिया है. अमीना ने 9 मई को एक बेटे को जन्म दिया. 14 मई को अमीना ने एक बेटे और दो बेटियों को जन्म दिया. सभी बच्चे सामान्य प्रसव प्रक्रिया से पैदा हुआ है. सभी बच्चे सकुशल, स्वस्थ है. अमीना की कोख में 4 बच्चे है यह बात डाक्टर्स को प्रेग्नेंसी के दो महीने बाद ही पता चल गयी थी. डाक्टर्स लगातार अमीना की निगरानी कर रहे थे. अमीना की शादी दो साल पहले परचून कारोबारी मुहम्मद आलिम से हुई थी.
