No. For two reasons.
1. It is the job of every trader to improve their skills as a trader. The moment I have hundreds or thousands of people copy-trading me I stop needing to be good at what I do. It turns into a self-fulfilling prophesy as anything I ape will automatically perform well - and then those copy traders ultimately become my exit liquidity. While this may be the go-to method for a lot of public figures, I prefer to continue to sharpen my skills instead of feeling smart just because everything I trade has a bunch of people following.
2. I do not want to bear the even indirect responsibility for anyone's loss. On one platform many months ago I had something like 2,000 copy traders. I made some of them a lot of money (top copier I believe made six figures). I was right much more than I was wrong, but seeing someone's entire $5 account balance get wiped the times I was wrong was very painful to me.
It's schrödinger's cat, in a sense.
