@AndSpaceY Full disclosure - FFXIII was my least favourite FF experience. XIII 2 I enjoyed more, XIII 3 I couldn't play at all. I didn't like Lightning and it wasn't keen on how little freedom there was (until Chapter 11). Combat was probably the main reason I saw it through to completion.

#MegaDriveMonday Earthworm Jim For me, this really is one of the stand out games of the 16bit era, fantastic stylish graphics, great humour, and a lot of fun to actually play. Can be tough in parts but it's never a chore

@RetroBoyJon I picked up 6 over Xmas for £8 and fell back in love with the series. One of the only fighting games where I find it comfortable to block with a button rather than holding back. Possibly because there's weapons involved I dunno 😅

#Ps2sDay Soulcalibur 2 & 3 Soulcalibur is still one of my favourite fighting series, on the Ps2, 2 was my favourite. Any other fans?

@RetroBoyJon Micromachines was king. Up to and including V3. Still a game where my wife can hold her own and actually beat me some days lol.

#MegaDriveMonday I love a top down racer, they always bring me right back to being a kid again. Here are some examples for the Mega Drive, are you a fan? What top down racer(s) are your favourite?

@RetroBoyJon I loved this. Solid platformer and hack and slash. Got stuck on 1 jump on the last stage for ages (on like an airship!?) but kept coming back and finally did it.

#Ps2sDay Maximo vs Army of Zin This game is actually a sequel to Ghosts 'n' Goblins (the second one on the ps2 after Ghosts to Glory) and its surprisingly good. Obviously we are in the 3D realm here, but it works and it's a lot of fun to play

@RetroBoyJon Both great, owned a MD, bestie has a SNES, was happy it was that way round but also happy I got to play both!

I love the Megadrive, it's my favourite console, the one I first REALLY got into, and nothing will ever replace it. I also have, love and play the SNES loads, and totally get why it may be someone else's favourite. See how easy this is kids?....

#CIBsunday Command & Conqueror The First Decade Released in 2006, this collection featured 12 C&C games and expansions released between 1995-2003, behind the scenes bonus dvd and double sided poster. If you're a fan, it's a great collection to have.

@RetroBoyJon Ive been playing online more than usual recently, mostly co-op stuff and I'm getting really pissed at the point scoring built into absolutely everything these days.I've gone back to Halo to live out my simple life now as I'm not interested in competing with friends on coop games!

Can't get behind this at all, why do you need to share it? Gamescores and trophies don't mean anything, we survived for decades without them, they are there to make you keep playing. Good for you if you enjoy them, but not sharing them doesn't make you not a gamer. Weird take imo

@cr0bar Suikoden 1 or 2! Soul Reaver is great, Silent Bomber is obscure but fun. Ghost in the Shell, Soul Blade, Vandal Hearts...loads of classics
