An explosive device detonated on Tuesday afternoon in the Khan Yunis area in territory that is under Israeli control, beyond the Yellow Line. The IDF is investigating the circumstances of the incident, particularly to determine whether the explosive was planted recently or whether it is an old device that remains from before the ceasefire came into effect. If planted recently, this would be an additional violation of the ceasefire, two days after Hamas terrorists fired at IDF troops in Israeli-controlled territory, killing two soldiers.

How would the IDF disarm Hamas? Throughout the war the policy was to evacuate civilians to areas run by Hamas, meaning Hamas was always cemented in power by controlling civilians. To disarm them you’d need to separate them from the civilians. I’ve never heard one person explain how the IDF intends to do that? Or is “disarming” just mean razing more areas of Gaza City and the Central Camps to make them look like Beit Hanoun (which is what officials said would happen to Gaza city.)? Razing cities and blowing up high-rises doesn’t seem like “disarming” and Hamas immediately re-emerged after two years of fighting so it’s not clear all the bombing actually disarmed them. I’ve never heard an explanation of how “disarmament” would be accomplished. How to separate civilians from Hamas and give them a chance at a normal life. If someone has a theory that isn’t just “more bombing” or “expel them to Egypt” I’d be interested to hear it.

Last night there was another attempted arrest of a yeshiva student in Be’er Sheva. Officers entered the house and conducted a search, but the young man was not home. They do not enter the Haredi cities.

The "Hidden Is More Immense" investigative journalism program on the Qatari Al Jazeeranetwork published a supposedly "leaked document" on Monday that includes a list of approximately 30 thousand Israeli Air Force pilots and service members who participated in the war in Gaza. The list also includes photos and the service members' personal information. The episode, which discusses the legal persecution of IDF soldiers abroad by the Brazil-based Hind Rajib Foundation, shows pictures and information taken from social media about IDF soldiers during their time in Gaza. It should be noted that three years ago, it was reported that the personal information of 30,000 former and current Air Force service members was leaked and published on the darknet by the "Leak the Analyst" hacker group.

This morning, after I cleared airport security, two TSA agents chased after me, shouting, “Sir! The Military Police last night arrested Dvir Shlomo Ben Shimon, a student at the Or HaChaim yeshiva, at his home in Adam. According to the family’s account, the Military Police arrived in large numbers and even blocked several streets around his house to prevent access.

@NetanelWorthy Thank you. I'm convinced that X benefits from the bot traffic. Otherwise, they'd have already put the resources into fixing a very fixable problem long ago.

I reported this tweet, and X said they could find nothing wrong with it. The X police are taking lessons from the London police.

@yoavkaufman It’s also a bot account. I tracked ISP and sent it to my connections with the platform. This should’ve very easily been picked up considering they are using the exact same insults multiple times an hour. X needs to do much better at combating this as you said.

Master Sergeant Tal Haimi, commander of the Nir Yitzhak emergency response team, was killed while defending the kibbutz on the morning of October 7. His body was taken by the Hamas terrorist organization. Tal Haimi was 41 years old at the time of his death, which was officially confirmed on December 13, 2023. He is survived by his wife, four children, his father, and his sister.
