Since Canada didn't take the puck moving defenseman that were available to him, the go-to play seems to be lobbing the puck up into the air and praying the forwards pick it up.

@Howie6149 @ScoutingTheRefs But did they get it wrong? It's only controversial if there's something to argue about. There wasn't. The most iffy call they made was the offside AGAINST Canada that was clearly onside, and negated a scoring chance 🤷‍♂️

@ScoutingTheRefs worst of all is having 2 canadian refs....couldnt have had 2 non north american officials do it instead, conflict of interest IMHO

i think the hypothetical value of bouchard to Canada is that most of the Responsible defencemen they brought are also making dumb mistakes in their own zone but without being able to move the puck at an elite level

@NeufieDigital Both players hesitated and the communication wasn’t there. Both guys had some egg on their face there. Stu probably didn’t want a face off on a routine dump in and wanted to move the puck. 🤷🏼‍♂️ It’s easier to understand when you don’t have the ‘blame the goalie’ narrative. 😏

Seeing a lot of blame on Stu for that loss last night. You can fault him for one goal and even that one Bouch is just as much to blame for right? 😏 Want to point a finger you point it at the team who got sloppy after a 3-0 lead and took their foot off the gas. 🤷🏼‍♂️#LetsGoOilers
