@Lovandfear Exhaustion isn’t always from doing too much. Sometimes it comes from never feeling like the day belonged to you.

@IAmSteveHarvey Africa is one of the most misunderstood places online. People talk about struggle so much that they forget to talk about beauty.

@talkwithgt Maybe that’s why heartbreak hurts so much. You don’t just lose a person sometimes… you lose the version of yourself you were with them.

Recently I saw how badly betrayal can change a person. There’s a girl I know who used to be full of life. Always laughing, motivating people, making others forget their stress just by talking to them. But for the past few weeks she became completely different. Easily irritated, mentally drained, getting angry for small things. At first nobody understood what happened. Later she finally opened up. The guy she loved for 5 years cheated on her. Honestly, that one thing completely broke her emotionally. Not just because she lost someone, but because she lost trust in everything she believed was real. What I understood from this is… heartbreak doesn’t heal just because time passes. People heal when they slowly reconnect with themselves again. So instead of constantly talking about the betrayal, I made her focus on rebuilding her own life again. Less overthinking. Less stalking old memories. More going outside, more conversations, more laughing, more focusing on herself, her routine, her peace. Slowly she started becoming lighter again. And now when I see her, I realize something: Sometimes the real healing is not finding new love. It’s finding yourself again after losing yourself in the wrong person.

🍂@Lovandfear·
My loneliness became the fire behind my ambition. I would no longer dwell in my desire to be loved; I would simply begin to love myself. I would get busy. I would work on myself harder than ever before. I would put all of my energy I had been using to pity myself for being alone towards something wonderful for myself. I was going to fall in love with being alive and find the purpose of each day. Little did I know, loving myself would lead me to the love I had previously been searching desperately for. I hadn’t been looking, so he came right to me. Self love is everything. Never underestimate the power of your own drive.

The easiest way to lose power is to appear hungry for it, because visible desperation creates suspicion, envy, and resistance, while controlled indirection lets people move toward your outcome believing the desire was always their own.

I think we were meant to live more slowly. Not constantly stimulated. Not glued to screens. Not rushing through every moment like life is a competition. We were meant for ordinary things. Afternoon walks with nowhere to be. Watching the rain with a warm cup of tea. Falling asleep while reading. Trying things, sucking at them, and still enjoying them anyway. But modern life convinced us that every second must be optimized. Every hobby monetized. Every moment productive. And honestly, I think that’s why so many people feel disconnected from themselves now. Because the soul doesn’t need constant excitement. It needs slowness. Presence. What it really needs is peace. Little moments that make you feel quietly alive.

“I’m going to start in 3 months.” No, you’re not. You’re pinning your goal on a future version of yourself that doesn’t exist. It’s a fantasy. You do this all the time. You assume the future will be better than it is right now so you wait until then. But then the usual unexpected chaos comes from nowhere and once again act surprised. You’re so obsessed with the “right time” that you’ve wasted years of your life doing nothing. This is how you have regrets. Start f*cking today. Stop delaying. Stop hoping for less or no chaos. Treat your goals like daily habits. Get to work. Procrastination is embarrassing. Lying to yourself is worse.
