@NewCycling
We are the Newcastle Cycling Campaign: we want a city with space for cycling, so that everyone - people of all ages and abilities - are able to choose to cycle.

Dozens of people came together for a mass bike ride through Newcastle chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-eas…

It's been a busy day on the Tyne Bridge as it sees it's most efficient use of the year, with 60,000 people crossing in around two hours and road works to clear and reinstate to give the runners extra space. #GNR25

Still no update on this unfortunately. Some Cyclists dismount signs have been quickly put up. This is discriminatory to those with mobility cycles and blocks larger cargo bikes. A safe diversion needs to be in place or the fencing moved.

Somebody has fenced off the main cycle route from Heaton to the city centre, with no warning and no diversion. It's possible to get though via the bin area of Shieldfield House then through a private car park back to the road. Councillors are aware and are try to sort it.

Come and join us for our AGM at the Cycle Hub on 8th July at 6:30pm. There'll be cycle chat with riverside views and free snacks and cake (and only a little bit of official business). Register for your free ticket here: eventbrite.com/e/newcastle-cy…
