A month ago I went to meet 5 month old TPD Zee( Hedgehog) at the dogs trust after he had been placed with them by the RSPCA. At 17 kgs & nervous of the outside world I picked him up & placed him with Mike & Kim. He has now put on 4 kgs & is growing more confident every day. 👏❤️

Blake discovered a potato!

Once the digging and raking was done, it was time for Blake to lay on the freshly tilled soil and hold orange stick.

@xenakixit @h_quant There are enough unwanted dogs in the country, so I couldn't breed more. Also, his hip and elbow scores mean he couldn't breed with a GSD. Having said that, his main girlfriend is a Great Dane. Can you imagine a super-sized Blake?! That would be hard to manage! lol!

Soggy and muddy at the end of his walk, Blake likes to work up some mud for me to brush off later when it dries. Having initially hated grooming, Blake now adores it! He even fetches a soft blanket for me to massage him with after brushing :)

@rafthemaster The important thing was that Enzo was returned to his humans - and that we showed up to support and help his family. It's such a frightening time for people and they need to feel supported and hear me tell them that almost all the lost dogs in the forest get found.

@NewForestBlake Good work trying to help and glad that whilst you & Blake didn’t get the victory yourselves, Enzo was found and returned to his humans :)

Sunday night, we went tracking to find Enzo, who went missing in the forest. Scary and difficult track through a wet forest in the dark. Blake was confident and tracked well. Had to abandon as humans can't go where dogs can (gorse)! Enzo now found, not by us though.

@rafthemaster Blake took it upon himself to pack the large yellow ball and take it to the new cottage. Then he selected an indoor ball to throw at the removal men whilst they were laying under the piano adjusting it. Was V funny!

@NewForestBlake I just hope they didn’t try to pack YB - Blake wouldn’t like that!

PD Albert is The 1st ever Giant Schnauzer to win at Police Dog trials. PD Albert and his handler were the overall winners of the Southwest Police dog trials held this week near Bristol. They will now represent the region at the National Police dog trials.
