@NewRandomGeek

Faceless and known only as Ralph, I'm just here to watch the world succumb to idiocy.

Can you guys please pray for my family and especially for my oldest granddaughter? She's 16, and . . . it's bad, that's all I'm going to say for her privacy. We need God's providence and comfort right now.

🚨 UPDATE: Jashanpreet Singh has now been sentenced to less than five years in prison for the deadly 2025 crash that killed three people and injured four others. For those who may not remember this case: Jashanpreet Singh, an Indian national, was identified by law enforcement sources as being in the United States illegally after reportedly entering the country in 2022. According to the California Highway Patrol, he was driving a semi-truck under the influence when he plowed into stopped traffic on Interstate 10 in Ontario, California, causing an eight-vehicle crash that left three people dead and four others injured. During the court proceedings, records showed that Singh required a Punjabi interpreter. Later, toxicology testing did not confirm the presence of the substances initially suspected. As a result, prosecutors amended the case, and it proceeded as a gross vehicular manslaughter case rather than a DUI-based prosecution. Singh ultimately pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular manslaughter. The sentence? 🚨Less than five years in prison for a crash that claimed three lives and seriously injured four others.🚨 America, we have a problem.

Merlin (1998) was an interesting mini series about Merlin that was engaging and has a great performance from Sam Neill. If anyone else is curious about it, you can currently check it out on Tubi.

A preacher can’t preach on a public sidewalk in Fort Worth without being threatened with arrest, yet a man can publicly threaten to shoot ICE agents and face no consequences. If that doesn’t make you question how selectively the law is being enforced, it should.

@shoveitjack That’s a good point. While I prefer Standard Time, people butthurt over it will be amusing. I’m doubtful the DST all the time change will last more than one year anyway.

The only thing that makes me happier than the fact that this finally has a real possibility of happening is looking forward to all of the bitching about it we're soon going to get from the Standard Time Communists.

BREAKING: The House has passed legislation to make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide, ending the twice-a-year clock changes by a 308-117 vote. Backed by President Trump, the bill now heads to the Senate. If approved and signed into law, Americans would no longer have to change their clocks.

I don't get this DST boner politicians have. They're doing exactly what they did in '74/'75, declare it a "Failure," and instead of using Standard Time year round, we'll go back to what everyone hates. As for me, pick one and leave it. I hate the time changes. They're stupid.

@Taxpayers1234 He's complaining we missed the point because his 7 hour drive only covered "A fraction" of the state. I can confirm a 7 hour drive only covers a fraction of Texas. From the top of the Panhandle to Brownsville is almost a 13 hour drive (assuming the best speed possible).

American brothers and sisters! 🇺🇸 It’s almost 6:00 a.m. here in Japan! The sun is coming up, and it’s starting to get hotter already. ☀️🥵 I’m going to turn the AC way up and get some sleep. 💤 I’m not going to bed just yet, but I don’t want to accidentally fall asleep without saying goodnight! Good night, my brothers and sisters! Have an amazing day!

BREAKING UPDATE: @AAGDhillon just issued a notice to the Fort Worth Police Department after we exposed them for infringing on Christians’ 1st Amendment rights. "Government actors may not engage in viewpoint discrimination... simply because the speech may be unpopular, offensive, or controversial." They’re about to FAFO!

@AaronWorthing Yep. People going back now and looking at some of those late 70s, early 80s PG movies might be shocked. A recall once a family friend wanted to show a class some movie, but was denied because it was rated "R." To get revenge, she showed "Smokey and the Bandit" (PG) instead.

To be fair Jaws was before PG-13 existed They invented PG-13 after temple of doom was rated PG and parents were upset. Spielberg himself said that there needs to be an in-between rating and the PG-13 was born
Sean T at RCP@SeanTrende

It's amazing how film ratings slid. My dad was a little taken aback that we took the family to see the Wonder Woman movie because it was PG-13 and our youngest was 7. He was shocked that it was just an average action movie. Jaws was PG! There was nudity in PG movies! F-Bombs!
