@kimmie_c_ While they put in some great effort, the overall quality has been poor, pacing and tone is weird and the feeling I get is they floundered for how to wrap things up.

@kimmie_c_ The sad thing about this season is some of the actors have put in damn good performances. Jensen Ackles has had some great scenes (when he's not having to drop sex joke lines), Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Karl Urban had a great scene in ep 7 and so did Tomer Capone...

Beyond Nolan, I'm sick of not bein able to hear dialog in shows and movies. Add to that 90 minutes of black screens for "Night."
I know my hearing isn't the problem, because I turn the audio up for dialog, then an action scene hits and I'm bleeding from my ears.

I find Nolan's insistence on mixing the dialogue to be nearly inaudible and then hiding behind I don't want to lose the original performance insulting. I have active disinterest in his movies because if he does not care if I can hear what is said, I do not care to try to listen.

It is not unreasonable for people to criticize the unusual casting choices for a movie. It is also not unreasonable to say, "let's wait to see the movie before passing judgment." We used to be better at balancing opposing, reasonable arguments without excessive rancor.

Gunt has the luck of an idiot, and for reasons I'll never understand, courts throw the book at upstanding citizens who make a mistake, but let repeat offenders walk, so I don't expect much.

If so, yes that is a thing over here. We call them "Exchange Students." We hosted one in our home, and when I was young, I went to school with two exchange students.
