Since starting down this road, I have said my campaign is about more than one campaign or candidate. It is about spreading the message that Progressive policies have failed in every place they have been instituted. New York isn't any different. I became involved in advocacy and then politics because I felt that the City, State, and Country were going down the wrong path. To help get that message out, I created an Audio and Video Podcast, Vito LaBella, Fighting for New York. Its purpose is to reach out to the 43rd City Council District voters, shine a spotlight on all of these failed policies, honor the everyday New Yorkers who have stepped up to fight against them, and introduce you to the victims these policies create. Please take some time to watch my interview with Maria and her mom as they speak about their experiences trying to deal with a tenant whose intention clearly was to game the system. Owner-occupied two- or three-family homes are vital to NYC's housing stock. Like everything, we must balance the homeowners' rights and the tenants' protections.
