These people will never understand the feeling that flows through a chasers body when they are about to make an aggressive close range intercept of a tornado. The build up and maneuver is intoxicating and sometimes releases vocally through the chasers mouth. It’s even worse when you’ve been chasing a storm for 3 hours and the brief intercept moment has finally arrived. But sometimes like Westmoreland or Wellfleet the tornado needs to do all the talking. Except for a couple of selfies.

Already 13 years since the infamous Moore, OK tornado, which for some time was the last EF-5 tornado before the infamous “drought”. PX-1000, a mobile radar run by OU ARRC, was perfectly positioned and scanned the tornado thru its entire life

I did not see the video but he did not impede or interfere with the FF at all. Explain how? If the FF wanted the entire road closed he should have made it impossible to go around. They should have flared and or cones not just a brush truck. What if this was a main route of egress? Kansas cops have been known to close those roads. Would you want them to sit and get hit?

Umm. Dude. He was in a fire truck in official capacity.. do you really want to argue with a police officer on this? It’s clear cut, and have been reached out to by other LEO in Kansas about this. Any violation that comes with possible Jail time is considered major. Felony no.. but still a major issue

He didn’t instruct, interfere or impede the firefighter. Going around a “road block” is not illegal. It just means you are now responsible for all damage to your property and any public or private property you cause should something happen. Insurance will also not cover anything. At least in Oklahoma. I’m sure KS is pretty close. Post the video and help me change my mind…

A few weeks ago in East Oklahoma, on a tor warned storm, *every* "chaser" I saw pulled over with me were looking at the complete wrong direction of some scud, instead of a well defined meso-handoff and wall cloud. The only people looking the correct direction was @WxScholl and myself. These people out here are not chasers, they're people who saw a viral clip, downloaded an app and decided to drive to where all the dots are. I want success for all my fellow chasers, but part of me worries about the new Discovery show taking off and getting big.. its just going to continue to add to the fire.

I literally pulled up as many chasers on YouTube as I could and the ones doing illegal stuff the most was reed. I think. Spotternet shouod he shut down too. If anyone wants their location knows share it on a private phone app . Folks streaming and posting their “target locations” need to stop too. Half of this easily are folks playing follow the leader

My son just aged out of my health insurance. Two choices for him. Pay over $1,400 a month for COBRA or Pay over $400 a month on the Health Marketplace, which is actually the least expensive plan there. Apparently, I'm going to be paying for his cell phone forever to help him out. The system is not set up to help young adults succeed. Housing unaffordable. School is unaffordable and Healthcare unaffordable and you have the guy in the White House more concerned about gold for his ballroom and blue paint for the reflecting pool. #DemsUnited

@BarnettforAZ Pretty sure we export more oil and re import it after it’s refined bc the US doesn’t have the refining capabilities to make enough gasoline.

Oil companies are ripping us off. It’s not a supply and demand issue. We are a net exporter. We are selling more oil overseas than ever before while the American people are being price gauged. We have access to Venezuelan oil like never before and we are still getting stuck with $5 a gallon gas. We are flat out being ripped off by Big Oil.
