The Hilton donated the ~2600 dinners that went unserved at WHCD. They freeze dried the steak and lobster for longer shelf life before giving them to 2 shelters for abused women and children. HUGE thank you to the staff that worked through the night under terrible circumstances.

I don't know about Ryan, but yes to all three. Sorry, do you really think we're going to send wave after wave of men and tanks into the interior of Iran? Why would we do that? We've got three major objectives: 1) Cripple the Iranian regime military so that they cannot effectively strike our allies or threaten our interests. This is about 70% complete, by my reckoning. There's more work to be done to secure the Strait, but that project is underway. 2) Completely shut the door on Iran's nuclear program. We destroyed their most important nuclear facilities a year ago; most critically we destroyed the underground centrifuge plant at Fordow. We have now hit many additional research and engineering sites related to their nuclear program, but Iran retains over 400 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium which needs to be accounted for. 3) Make way for and possibly directly support a successor regime that will replace the fundamentalist Mullahs. Probably using the Shah to create a provisional government that can manage a transition to... whatever the hell the Persian people vote for. Side objectives: 4) Deny resources (Shahed drones, oil, ammunition, etc) to Russia and China. 5) Take control of the oil terminal at Kharg, possibly to be used as a bargaining chip to get the Iranians to surrender the nuclear material. Point (3) above is where things get shaky. Every other objective we have in Iran is very, very achievable with very limited boots-on-ground action in Iran. Either the US or Israel will probably end up sending in a special forces team to secure and airlift out the enriched uranium, and that will probably be the final checklist item for point (2) above. Point (3) has so many variables that I could easily see things going very wrong if it isn't handled delicately, and we are not good at handling such things delicately. The problem with Iran isn't that it's going to get servicemembers killed. Our casualty rate so far is about on par with a very, very large and vigorous training exercise. No, the problem is going to be what happens when we stop dropping bombs. The Mullahs' power WILL be broken, but what power will step in to take their place? This is a boring by-the-numbers job of bombing an ordered list of targets. We can do that all day long and break nary a sweat. None of this will get dangerous or interesting until it's time to address point (3).

Breaking via @CBSNews: After an Iranian vessel sailed too closely to the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier, which has been operating in the Arabian Sea in support of the war against Iran, a US Navy vessel attempted to fire on the Iranian one using its Marck-45 gun mounted to the forward deck, but missed multiple times. A two-alarm fire damaged a building in Plumstead Township, Bucks County, in the 6100 block of Easton Road. The fire involved a gas line into the building. No word on injuries. Easton Rd is closed .
