These are the same players at the top of the scouting report, you’re watching film and know who you’re playing and still getting called for these fouls so at what point are you just dumb for not knowing what you’re supposed to be doing on defense?

It sucks. Nicknames used to either come from the funniest person you grew up around or from a professional journalist who was usually pretty clever. But we’re never gonna come up with a great nickname that takes up fewer characters on Twitter than “SGA,” so SGA it is.

Heard the NBA nickname discussion between Simmons/Kellerman. I’ve always felt social media killed nicknames because everything became about quick communication an character preservation, so initials and numbers were just the simplest way to identify someone.
