Wanted to address this publicly to clear up any confusion with CRT’s market price. The market price is separate from the mint/redeem NAV price. While mint/redeem is paused, there is no way for the market price to stay on line with NAV price. Currently the onchain accounting shows the full amount of deposit value in drift - as a result the NAV would be calculated incorrectly (NAV = TVL/Supply) Since we know the TVL is much less than reported if the drift accounts are now worthless… that is why mint/redeem is paused until we know for certain the value of those deposits. Once we know that, and that information is onchain we can resume the protocol functions and the final damage can be understood. Total gut punch of a situation, not only for drift, but also for the dozens of protocols and hundreds of users in the same boat as us. Dear everyone A lot of work has gone in to our new project called ‘drops’ by @cetsfk We’re launching the first drop tomorrow before weekly spaces, so do not miss it! We don’t actually care about the result, or what impact it has. The measure of success was completion. I’ve been in many different Cets teams over the past 3 and a half years, and honestly, this is the best work we’ve done since the days of Peb & Gus. I say that because drop 1 is so dumb in concept but so beautiful in quality. It’s been a great litmus test, Cets is in the 1% of Solana NFTs. We survived so much, we have a unforgettable IP and an incredible die-hard community, the only thing missing was consistency in delivery. So we decided to make a plan to deliver the most stupid shit we could think of consistently. To give people another reason to be active. Full credit where it’s due to the skills of @theartistspud & @0x_DegenDev for making ideas turn into reality, and most importantly up to the quality standard that is expected of Cets on Creck. It’s so easy to sit in a discord and spend hours, days, weeks, mind masturbating each other without actually creating anything real. Seeing ideas come to life again at Cets is quite honestly fucking awesome. We’re a CTO, limited funds, lots of resistance and an unlimited number of ways in which things can go wrong. But, for the first time since January, Cets is about to launch something new, and as a community member first, I’m excited for it. Let’s cause some fucking chaos! Cets are so fucking back!
