@MAC_Arms I think what I find most disappointing is the suggestion that the US would allow this to happen out of spite, especially considering how eager they’ve been historically to intervene in other countries’ conflicts without any treaty or other agreements in place…

Without the US in NATO, the "alliance" becomes the equivalent of a furry club at your local high school and the bullies will beat your asses routinely for laughs.

For all those Europeans eager to disband NATO (I am as well by the way), you may want to read this. The only reason many of you aren't speaking Russian right now is because the US is the actual military threat behind NATO retraining Putin. grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5…

@MAGAVoice “100% of his supporters support him”, obviously! That’s like saying 100% of dead people are dead. Selection bias is a great way to mislead using facts. "You don't have to be a GENIUS to know you can't go higher than 100%” yet your president thinks a 1200% discount is achievable…

@MAC_Arms Any time anyone points a gun at someone for any reason other than that someone poses an imminent threat to life, it is a failure of humanity as an intelligent species. Just my opinion, take it or leave it as you please, won’t bother me in the slightest.

@diannahaze Cherish those little wins. I know it might not seem like much by comparison, but after breaking my back and having surgery to stabilise it, I was pretty darn happy to be able to walk the 3 steps to the toilet!

I watered my plants and emptied the dishwasher today by myself. I know that may seem like nothing to some people but I couldn’t do any of that just 3 weeks ago. Autonomy is underrated.

@hankgreen @JDVance I’ve watched the videos, to me it looks like he was murdered for defending a woman. He was face down on the ground, his pistol had been taken from his holster by a federal agent already, and he was shot in the back. The list of rights he was denied is too long.

When I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories. But near the top of the list: A couple of off duty ICE and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis. They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. The officers were locked in the restaurant, and local police refused to respond to their pleas for help (as they've been directed by local authorities). Eventually, their fellow federal agents came to their aid. This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement. They have created the chaos so they can have moments like yesterday, where someone tragically dies and politicians get to grandstand about the evils of enforcing the border. The solution is staring everyone in the face. I hope authorities in Minneapolis stop this madness.

@DJSnM 😂 Definitely not my first thought. I was actually thinking I’d like to see this paper, as the terms sound interesting and I’d like to see what they’re doing.

@stephenehorn That kind of idiocy is how so many U.S. citizens and permanent residents have ended up being accidentally deported. Last I looked it was over 70, and that was a while ago.

Social media has been highly toxic for years. I've contributed to that by "responding in kind" to trolls. I used to enjoy trolling the trolls, but I've come to realize I'm contributing to the toxicity. Me stopping the practice of trolling the trolls won't move the needle in reducing the toxicity of social media, I understand that. However, at this point I believe it's the right thing to do. I first want to apologize to those I've offended by behaving in the same manner as the trolls. Most of you never say anything, but I know many of you rather not see me taking part in it this childishness. I'm going to make a genuine attempt to not "respond in kind" to the trolling comments of others. I'm not saying I won't debate people, even in a spirited fashion, but hurling insults accomplishes nothing. No one is changing minds by insulting one and other. Instead, if someone is an ass I will either disengage or say something like "God bless you" then move on. You can't debate someone who is either intellectually incapable of having a meaningful discussion or is simply uninterested. It would be awesome to think I could start a movement by doing this, but I know I'm inconsequential in the grand scheme of things and I'm not an "influencer", I don't influence much of anything. This is my New Years resolution. I hope I can stick with it. Some of you are quite taxing and the urge to insult you back is strong at times... but I must try to be the bigger man. God bless you all and again, Merry Christmas.

@clareanneath You’re forgetting the cases where the pregnancy is not viable and threatens the mother’s life. Would you have someone die to carry an embryo that won’t survive anyway? Seems a pointless waste of life.

If Colleges and Universities are going to continue to receive taxpayer money their faculties should be mandated to have a 50/50 political ideology split within 10%. If they violate the mandate all funding is stripped.

@SteveBarrettM95 @MrColionNoir Guess you haven’t seen the cop who dropped one of the Bondi shooters from 40yds with a Glock. The other shooter was taken down by an unarmed Muslim immigrant. So, while I agree armed citizens would have ended this faster, it was ultimately ended by a cop and an unarmed civilian.

@MrColionNoir It turns out police were useless while many bystanders used their bodies to shield others and others confronted the killers and attempted to stop the massacre. The killing went on for 25 minutes. What if a good guy had a gun too? Lot less dead people.

@MrColionNoir 5 in 30 years. How long does it take on average for there to be 5 mass shootings in the U.S.? A week? Maybe a month? I own guns, I shoot, I wish I had access to a wider variety for hunting and sporting purposes, but I’m glad there are at least some checks in place to limit access

Australian Mass Shooting Shows Why Banning Guns Won’t Stop Mass Shootings Australia is often held up as the example of how gun bans are supposed to stop mass violence. And yet — here we are. In this video, I break down the horrific mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach that left 11 people dead during a religious celebration, despite one of the strictest gun control regimes in the world. This wasn’t a loophole. This wasn’t a technicality. This wasn’t a failure to pass enough laws. It was proof of something people refuse to confront: 👉 When someone is committed to mass murder, laws don’t stop them. The attackers still obtained firearms. They still planned the attack. They even brought improvised explosive devices. And when the shooting started, the only people who could intervene were: Police… who arrived minutes later Or unarmed civilians forced to use their bodies instead of tools That’s not safety. That’s desperation. We also talk about: Why “low gun deaths” statistics don’t tell the full story How banning guns changes the tools of violence, not the intent Why heroism shouldn’t require self-sacrifice when capability is an option And the uncomfortable trade-off governments make when they monopolize force This isn’t about celebrating violence. It’s about refusing to lie about what actually stops it. Because you cannot legislate evil out of existence. You can only decide whether innocent people are helpless… or capable. Watch. Think. Decide for yourself. 🔥 FAFO GEAR + AKT1 Blackouts (My Everyday Range Setup) If you train, carry, or refuse to be a voluntary victim… the FAFO mindset is exactly that: quiet strength and prepared courage. @MAC_Arms The laws that could have prevented this tragedy already existed, which makes this a failure to enforce effectively. Yes, they’re restrictive, and yes, I find that frustrating, but the up side is we’ve only had 5 events like this in the last 30 years.
